Situated on "El Mogote" in the new private resort development of Paraiso del Mar, this brand new approximately 3,000 square foot beautifully furnished 4 bedroom home including a detached one bedroom casita is perfect for a couple or 2 to 3 families who want to relax after a day of golf, fishing, boating, kayaking, tennis, and shopping to name a few. The home is the largest of the models in the development. It has two master suites with double sinks and sunken tubs, a third bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and a detached casita with a queen bed and separate bathroom. There is also a pull out queen bed in the living room and a dining table that will accommodate up to twelve. The home is ideally situated within steps of the beach, kayaks, community pool, tennis courts and an 18 hole golf course. It boasts ideal running trails for all levels of running enthusiasts. The home has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, a propane barbecue for the "catch of the day" and includes the latest in electronics such as a 50 inch plasma TV, surround sound, ipod dock, and Wii.
If you choose to fly into the La Paz airport, it is a 15 minute short ride to the privately owned Paraiso del Mar dock where you will board the complimentary eco-friendly boat for your 10 minute ride to "El Mogote." El Mogote is a privately owned peninsula situated across from the Malecon in downtown La Paz and accessible only by guests of Paraiso del Mar and golfers of the award winning Arthur Hill's designed 18 hole golf course.
La Paz, (the City of Peace) is the capital of Baja California Sur and home to some of the worlds' best fishing, boating, snorkeling, and most beautiful sunsets. It is a one hour drive from the artsy town of Todos Santos, home of the famous "Hotel California", a favorite surf spot of many, and a 2 hour drive from Cabo San Lucas. The spectacular island "Espiritu Santos" is a short boat ride away and provides the most spectacular blue water and snorkeling.
While downtown La Paz is home to many cultural activities, great shopping, and great restaurants, we can arrange grocery and catering services at a nominal fee. Daily maid services can also be arranged, or as often as you desire during your stay.
Whether it is a golf or fishing weekend you desire, or an extended stay, our home is the perfect location to relax and unwind.

- Our home is one house behind the beachfront. We are a few short steps from the beach, community pool and golf course. Tennis courts are available on the property. What a wonderful Thanksgiving week we had! The weather was great but the house was outstanding! It housed our two families with kids beautifully. Ample space to accommodate everyone. The decor is unbelievable. Comfortable beds, flat screen tv (with a wii) and the kitchen is huge! I love the fact that you are literally steps away from both the pool and beach. We loved kayaking and searching for shells on this unspoiled stretch of paradise! Thank you for opening your home to us! We'll definitely be back! :0)

What a great place for a large group! The house was gorgeous and close to beach and pool. We had a fabulous time. We had 11 people in our group and were not cramped at all. Lots of room. The weather started out kinda windy so bad they had to close the airport but the boats still ran from the island to town. The guys went fishing and caught lot's of fish...yum! The listing provided does not give the place justice, I thought it was better than the pictures. The owner Christyne was always on top of any request or questions we had prior to arriving. Ana and Manny are amazing. Everything we needed they provided. Manny was available whenever we wanted to drive us all over. Very reasonable prices and spoke very good English. We loved everything! Even if you have to get a cab to go to the store and have them wait for you while you shop was very inexpensive, we did this and took 40 minutes shopping and it was 100 pesos, about $7 U.S. Perfect vacation...loved it and would highly recommend this house!

This was my second trip to La Paz and first to Paraiso Del Mar....The accomodations were by far the best I've EVER stayed at. This home is huge and everything about the interior is TOP OF THE LINE....Grilling our fresh caught fish on the outside bar-b-que was a definate high point. Ana was so accomodating and took care of us from the moment we got to the dock till our final day. The staff at the condos were very nice and getting back and forth to the dock from the house was a just a phone call away. And a final big thank you to the owner, Christyne, who took care of EVERYTHING for us and was a pleasure to deal with. It's not a matter of IF I'll be back to this exquisite home, it's just a matter of WHEN....Thanks again Christyne....

We wanted to thanx the Watson's for sharing their beautiful La Paz home with us for ten days! The days flew by and we found ourselves wishing we could have made the trip longer! What a find with two master bedroom suites, two sets of bunk beds and even the casita! The ferry ride and shuttle rides were part of the experience and they were all so helpful and nice! Could not find one bad thing to say about our trip! The volleyball net,swim up pool and the kyaks....just perfect!

La Paz is a little jewel of a town far away from the maddening crowd. As soon as we landed, my husband and I were immediately able to relax and unwind. The weather was fantastic, the water was 85+ degrees. If you're looking for a Mexican vacation without the wildness of Cabo, La Paz is the place. Paraiso Del Mar could not be a better vacation property. The staff is friendly, the homes are impeccable, and you're steps to a private beach. the property is a short and relaxing water taxi ride to the main land. I would recommend staying at Paraiso Del Mar if you're planning to go to La Paz.

The house was exquisitely furnished and exceptionally comfortable. We alternated between the pool and deserted long white sandy beach. When we wanted to leave the casa we called and were picked up and taken to the free ferry which took us to La Paz in less than 10 minutes. What a beautiful place. We will be back

This was our first trip to La Paz and what a treasure.The house was perfect and fabulous. Resort like feel. The decor is gorgeous and the grounds are quiet and impeccable. Our private chef made a fresh fish dinner that was delicious. We are definitely coming again. Thank you Watsons for a wonderful week. Let's keep it a secret from Cabo fans!!
