We had a great experience! Centrally located to Indianapolis & Columbus! Visited with family and saw the sights. Relaxed and let the local families come to us at their leisure! Saw a deer in backyard on first day, and had a battle of wits with the raccoons over the lids on the trashcans! The biggest drawback for us was that there was only one bedroom on ground floor and we had two elderly members that couldn't make the stairs (one had to sleep on couch in living room), and it's a pretty good climb to the pond. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience, and if given the chance we will be back! Lot's of family wished that they had went with us after we showed them the pictures!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This year we stayed here with our friends again for a great great New Years! I'd say this place is IDEAL! I believe, we have found the place we all wish to return! Although it sits near the road, it has remote feel! The lake and the property behind are great, too! Most rooms have their own bath and the bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors feel separated and quiet. I don't know about the basement because I don't believe anyone sleep down there. It was just used for pool and ping pong. Our bed was wonderful! I don't recall any hot water issues. My personal favorite is the hot tub with all the Sand Hill Cranes flying over the property in the 10 degree weather! It was spectacular! The hot tub is somewhat obscured from the road, but it isn't totally. The only difficulty was the dining area. The room is tight. Definitely bring your own knives...otherwise it's somewhat equipped.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
