Our home was custom built in 2007 to take advantage of the beautiful ocean views. It is perched on a hillside overlooking Maria's beach with views from Dome's to Tres Palmas and nightly sunset's outlining Desecheo Island.In the winter months you can watch the whales migrate up the coast from the comfort of your shaded veranda, house binoculars provided!
The master bedroom is oversized with a queen bed and French doors that open up for to sweeping ocean vistas. The other bedroom has a twin and a full. We have decorated the entire house with tropical art, paintings and photos. The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa and also a loveseat with double recliners and the French doors open to give you a gorgeous view and tropical breezes. With over 1800 sq. ft of wrap around balconies, you can enjoy whale watching, beautiful sunsets, and of course views of all of Rincon’s world famous surf breaks from the comfort of your veranda. It is a 5 min. walk to Maria's beach,Calypso restaurant and bar,Desecheo dive shop and 2 surf shops with board rentals. Bars and restaurants within a 5-10 min. drive include local seafood,Puerto Rican,sushi,burgers,BBQ,mexican and tapas.If you want a recommendation, just ask!For a night on the town, the casinos in Mayaguez are an easy 1/2 hour drive.El Junque, the only rainforest in North America,is a great day trip, as is Old San Juan. So,Imagine drinking your a.m. coffee while trying to decide which of the 7 major breaks you want to surf. Or maybe you want to go for a mountain bike ride or a hike on the trails that are at literally at the end of our driveway. There is also stand-up paddle boarding,charter boat fishing and snorkeling at famous Step's beach just a short 5 min. drive away. The house is equipped with all the comforts of home including a 42 inch flat screen T.V., and a state of the art treadmill that can be moved out to the covered verandah so you can exercise looking at the best ocean view in Rincon! Also yoga mats, exercise ball and weights. The outdoor furniture includes beautiful wrought iron dining tables, numerous chairs and tables. We have lovingly landscaped our property with dozens of palm trees, bougainvillea, papaya, avocado, banana and lime trees. The driveway can easily accommodate several cars. Beach chairs, towels ,umbrellas and coolers are included!! We also have a one bedroom apt. downstairs with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for a couple or small family.Email or call re; rates.Entire house is available for larger families.
