Cherry House II is a beautiful 3-bedroom rental with access to Pere Marquette Beach. There are side walks taking you direct to Lake Michigan (.03 mi). We are on a small penninsula known as Bluffton or Actor's Colony between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. All the homes are unique. Cherry Street itself is only 1-block long. Cherry House II is in the middle of the block. Access to Muskegon Lake is only 1-block at either end of Cherry St.
After a delightful day at Lake Michigan you can retire to the privacy of your back yard with its deck, fire pit and grilling areas. You can walk 1-block to public viewing areas at Muskegon Lake and see sunsets and water craft. Or, bring your own kayak, tub or other small water craft and launch from these areas.

Year Purchased: 2000
Originally we purchased this duplex as a monthly rental. However, the location is such that we wanted to share it as a weekly rental. We began this project in the spring of 2009 and completed it early this summer. The adjacent townhome will be available for rent next season. This would make it possible for two families to enjoy themselves at a single location. We are confident you will enjoy your stay.
Why the Owner Chose Muskegon
Prior to using this as a vacation rental property it was a monthly rental. However, each time we improved the property I was impressed with the location and the amenities it had to offer. We live near by and I personally know how beautiful it is all year round. Whenever I am at Cherry House II I become more attached to the neighborhood and surroundings. On Sunday morings I have heard the church bells from the small church around the corner. The back yard fire-pit is wonderful in the evenings. Walks to Pere Marquette Beach are fun and then we return to Cherry House easily. Lakeside is a great place for shopping with candy store, art stores, book stores. You are sure to enjoy this stay.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
You will be in walking distance to Lake Michigan and Pere Marquette Beach. There is a public sidewalk to the beach. Also, there is a public viewing area of Muskegon Lake only 1-block away. The home is near Lakeside which has shops, movie theatre, restaurants and more. The home itself has laundry facilities, fire pit, gas grill, rear deck, cooking utensils of all kind, beautiful appointments - very comfortable - bicycles available.

Nice cottage and location for enjoying Mid-Lake Michigan

The cottage was a nice place to spend the week with our 2 young children. Although we were close to Pere Marquette Beach, it was not walking distance for our family. We enjoyed Pere Marquette Beach and all the parks close by. (I think we discovered a new park every day.) We were just a short drive and took day trips to Grand Haven, Michigan Adventure, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and Pentwater, We enjoyed the fire pit and enjoyed a few evenings out by the fire.

You have an awsome place. We liked everything about it. The back yard, the paintings and all the interiors. I especially liked the book on decorating. We had a great time in Muskegon. Your home made our vacation very relaxing. Next time we come to Muskegon we will definitly be stopping by again.
