The cottage was a nice place to spend the week with our 2 young children. Although we were close to Pere Marquette Beach, it was not walking distance for our family. We enjoyed Pere Marquette Beach and all the parks close by. (I think we discovered a new park every day.) We were just a short drive and took day trips to Grand Haven, Michigan Adventure, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and Pentwater, We enjoyed the fire pit and enjoyed a few evenings out by the fire.

We were on family business, so we didn't have nearly enough time to hang out in and around this wonderful home, set in a quiet lakeside neighborhood. We had all uncles and nephews in our group, and it was fun to bunk up. There is lots of room in Cherry House for late-night gab sessions without disrupting anyone's slumber. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there's a little market close by. The whole experience felt like being at home, not in a rental. Much of that feeling derived from the care that the owner has put into décor and furniture, the sense that every pillow and work of art was chosen with an eye for style appropriate to the dignity of the building. A house of this vintage so clean and well kept had a time-machine effect on me; I felt like little boy again. We went for a long ramble along the lakeshore. We hardly saw or heard a neighbor, but when we did we were greeted with a cheerful "Good morning!" I thought, wow, do people really live like this any more? It's a wonderful life, still, on Cherry Street.

My husband, myself & our 20 month old daughter stayed at this property last weekend for three nights. We were delighted to find the house so clean & comfortable. The home had all the conviences of home including a crib & high chair for our child. We loved the back yard & found the fire pit to be a nice touch. We were so close to the beach and several other attractions. We would definately stay here again & encourage anyone else as well. Thanks again for a great weekend!

You have an awsome place. We liked everything about it. The back yard, the paintings and all the interiors. I especially liked the book on decorating. That tells me that you are a person with that Midas touch in interiors. If ever I am passing by Muskegon, ever in my life, I would stop at this very place. It's a pleasure staying at this beautiful, comfy way place. Thank you,

We are a group of 6 and we spent the 4th of July weekend at this place. It was a very sweet and great place. We specially loved the backyard (with grill and a fireplace). The owner was very friendly. Very close to to Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon. We would definitely love to stay at this place if we visit Muskegon again.
