A Log Home Retreat on 12,000 acre Lake Allatoona, ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. A wonderful setting for a reunion, retirement party or intimate wedding. Guests can bring their own boats or rent from nearby marinas. The quite is keen for seeing turtles, white ducks and heron. Several hiking trails and great outdoor activities in nearby Red Top Mountain State Park. Great for fishing bass, crappie, and stripers. Come relax on beautiful Lake Allatoona. A great getaway, only 30 minutes north of Atlanta on I75.
In the main house we offer three queen sized bedroom suites ~ one with a glassed porch; one with a loft including a day-bed and trundle and a garden level bedroom. All overlooking Lake Allatoona. Also, including three baths and fully equipped kitchen. A wood burning fireplace and private wrap around deck and grill.
The guest house has two bedrooms, full kitchen, separate laundry and private deck. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and two twins in the other. We offer a private entrance, wood-burning stove. Heating and Air and attic fan.
This property has a private boat dock with upper deck on a deep water cove. Our 225' sea wall offers a place to relax at waters edge with complete privacy.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was very well kept and clean when we arrived. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It is also well stocked and located just minutes from Red Top Mountain State Park. What a beautiful area. Our kids loved swimming near the dock. The owners and care takers were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Mike built our log home 25 years ago although we continue to add to our luxury setting. We built a new log home in Angel Fire, New Mexico and find we spend most of our days in the cool New Mexico air.
