This 7 mile barrier reef island to the city of Bradenton is home to some of the areas finest mom and pop restaurants, unique boutique shops and buildings no taller than 2 stories. This quaint 100 year old fishing village still possesses the charm of old Florida and people are friendly and helpful.

We enjoy visiting the island because it is so quiet and peaceful with no high-rise condos. The restaurants are wonderful. There are many spots where you can sit, sip a beverage and listen to music while the sun sets around the dolphins and manatees swimming in the gulf. Anna Maria Island/Bradenton Beach is truly a piece of paradise.
