This was a great place to spend a few days. It is stocked with just about anything you could think of that you might need. The neighborhood is quiet and it's a nice walk to downtown. Definitely a relaxing place to stay.

Live like a local while taking in OSF

Guest: Kent (Redwood City, CA)

We were particularly happy to avoid having to feed our two school-age boys at restaurants all the time--the place is near a local Safeway and we prepared most of our meals, dining out in the evening. It's a pleasant walk to the theaters, but not so close as to get a lot of traffic. It was nice to do so little driving. The place is just plain cozy--not formal or fragile, so a family can feel at ease. Plus, the back garden lends itself to exploration and play for the boys; parents will find it a serene spot for reading the plays prior to curtain.

Review of Ashland house

Guest: nena (redwood city, ca)
Date of Stay: 08/24/10 Review Submitted: 08/24/10

We have spent two weekends at this charming house in Ashland. You immediately feel at home, from the minute you enter the light-filled living room where there is a perfect bench for reading, to discovering the flower-filled garden with its quiet spots. We loved being able to park our car and never use it, walking to town in the cool of the morning and walking back after a performance under the star-filled sky. We did not cook in the well-equipped kitchen but it's ready for the gourmet chef. The house is really comfortable for two couples or a small family and I would recommend it to anyone over staying in a hotel. The manager makes it easy to come and go and the house was immaculate when we arrived.

Had a wonderful stay with the entire family at this beautiful historic home in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes walk from "downtown" Ashland and the theaters.

Wonderful Visit!

My husband and I normally stay at a Ashland Springs Hotel when visiting, but we'll be reserving this charming home from now on. Fantastic location (10 minute walk from the festival), well-appointed, well-priced and delightful garden. (My husband to his breakfast, book and camera to the garden every morning!) There is a wonderful sense of history about the home that makes you feel like you are having an "authentic" Ashland experience.
