  Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay. Steve's condo is extremely well furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped so making snacks and margaritas was very easy. It is also ideally situated within the complex so the pool is right outside the patio door, and the lobby is within a few steps for my teens to go to for internet access. Front desk and security staff are all extremely friendly. We really liked the combo of having lots of space and being able to venture out to try local restaurants. Thanks Steve for sharing your home away from home with us.

  This is a wonderful unit! Really clean, a nice large size and has all the cooking and eating utensils you will ever need! Steve was wonderful answering all the questions I had about the condo, complex and the area I had. The pool was fantastic, so large that is was never busy. It has a couple of areas that are shallow for small kids to play on (but be aware there is a drop off). Not a lot of grass space to play games, but my kids only wanted to swim so it didn't matter. This unit is literally a couple steps from the pool so it was SO easy to run in and out of the unit to grab stuff. The security was really good. They were always watching and seems to know everything! But they were friendly and happy to help out if you needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone who wants a clean, fun and convenient place to stay. I noticed it was for sale though, and if I was in a different place in my life I would definitely consider purchasing it!

  Steve and Litza, Thank you for opening your doors to us. Your unit is amazing. Outside of a few glitches during our first few days....we had a terrific time and hope to return in the near future.   This vacation was our 2nd time in this condo. It was absolutely marvelous. The unit is on the ground level with a beautiful view of the magnificent extra long pool just steps away from the patio where we enjoyed having our morning coffee or happy hour drinks with familiy and friends... The furnishing is very stunning and stylish. Modern kitchen and well equiped, everything we could need to prepare gourmet dinner. The immaculate ground all well maintain and absolutely breathtaking in a high end and very relaxing, quiet complex. Staff are wounderful and friendly always ready to assist at moment's notice. You can feel very secure with the presence of friendly security employees 24 hours a day. Housekeeping was a real plus (our little angel) kept our unit spotless. Having rented a vehicle, allowed us to explore many beautiful beaches from Cancun to Tulum. Our best restaurants: The Mezzanine (Thai restaurant in Tulum), El Cielo,El Bistro, Como-Como, La Pesca, Le jardin de Mariette. We also enjoyed walking on the beach in the morning (miles and miles to CocoBay beach). We could not have been happier. The owner is very honest and easy to deal with. This is a place to return. Can't wait for our next vacation in this unit. We do recommend this piece of paradise to all our family and friends. Thanks again

  We have stayed in Steve and Litsa's condo several times and absolutely love it! The unit is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is so nice to walk out the back door and sit on the porch and enjoy breakfast or a cocktail. The pool is just a few steps away and is always very well maintained as well as the property. The staff is extremely polite and knowledgeable. We have rented cars and found it is easy to drive to town and Walmart (this is my favorite Walmart in the world!) The taxi drivers and their taxis are immaculate and only $5.00 to town or it is just a 15 to 20 minute walk. We have stayed by ourselves, with couples and also have taken our teenagers and have had a great time every trip...so much to do..alot of great restaurants...beautiful beaches..shopping and alot more! We always felt very safe and would recommend this unit to anyone. Steve is wonderful to work with...very honest, knowledgeable and sincere...just a great person to deal with! And yes we already have our reservations in for next year...this time for 2 weeks!

  This was our 5th stay in three years at Steve and Litsa's condo at Paseo. Need I say more! Great staff and location. Not to mention very safe. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Their condo is well equipped and decorated with many personal touches. Not sterile, like some condos we have stayed in. Easy walk to 5th Ave. But if not in the mood, cabs are only $5.00. Car rentals are reasonable. Have done that also. There is a wide range of restaurants for every taste. While there are a a lot of good ones on 5th, get off the beaten path and explore the taste of the locals. We always do a return visit to El Fagon which is located near WalMart. Speaking of WalMart, we start our stay off with a shopping trip to stock up on breakfast and lunch items, snacks, alcohol, etc. They also have a yummy bakery. All in all, this place is as close to perfect as you can get. P.S. We've already booked for our return visit in 2012!!

  I decided to take my fiance (now wife) away for a little vacation after our engagement and decided Playa Del Carmen would be a great spot since I'd been once before and enjoyed it. Playa has the character that Cancun lacks and also appears to be much safer in the touristy spots. It's extremely safe "behind the gate" where this apartment is and most of the other resorts. The unit itself is absolutley 5 star with all the trimmings- you could easily live in it as you can tell some of the neighbors do seasonly. The best lounging part of the pool is steps out your backdoor. It's nice to have your own space compared to the resorts and we like to dine out to try the local spots so the all-inclusive resorts weren't an interest for us... although it was a nice to have the option to spend a day at the resort across the street on the beach if you wanted. We did that one day just to party at the pool bar! It's a manageable walk to all the restaurants and shops on 5th Ave but you will probably opt for the cheap cab-ride back if your feeling lazy. There's also a small shop and Starubucks just a few yards in the other direction (which we didn't realize until too late) for the quick essentials. One excursion we did which I HIGHLY reccomend is taking a cab to the nearby adventure park Xplor! Steve was great to work with, easy going and a wealth of knowledge for fun things to do there!

  What a wonderful vacation we had! This first-floor condo was clean and very nicely decorated. The large pool was right outside the door and the grounds were beautiful. You can sit on the patio and drink your morning coffee or enjoy a your favorite beverage for happy hour. The beaches were the prettiest I've ever seen. There were many things to do in town that were accessible by a short walk or by taxi (for $5), including shopping and dining. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

  I've vacationed here twice and could not ask for a better place to stay. The condo is beautifully furnished with everything you could need/think of. For me, the best bits were the 'little things' - the owners had thought about when decorating that made you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen was fully stocked and we used the washer and dryer every day after coming back from the beach or pool. The condo facilities are immaculate with a huge unique pool and a gym. Great location with the beach just across the street and a short walk to downtown Playa. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

  I have done the all inclusives and they just don't compare to the experience you get at Paseo Del Sol. We had privacy, enough people to socialize, and the freedom to do what we wanted, when we wanted. Paseo Del Sol had everything we could possibly need and more. I really enjoyed the easy access to the pool, it's literally right outside the back door, the upscale appliances, granite counter tops, washer & dryer (very handy), flat screen TV.. I could go on and on. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool (the largest one in Playa) is very quiet. Paseo Del Sol is a great place for people who are looking for a trip to Mexico minus the crazy partying. I would suggest renting a car so you can come and go as you please. We rented one this year and it really made a difference in expenses. The new beaches are breathtaking. You can walk across the street to the Reef Club and get a day pass for $40 USD and that includes unlimited food & drink as well as access to the beach. I can't wait to go back! !
