Take a short walk to the local botanical gardens where you can see both native and non-native tropical plants, troops of monkeys, and fabulous views. 15-20 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. Close to town, but quiet and secluded feeling. Quick $1.50 cab ride or 45 minute walk along the Caribbean to downtown Bocas del Toro.

Our family of four (including a 11 and 12 year old) enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great location, just a 5 min. taxi ride from the town of Bocas and 25 min. from Bocas del Drago (great beach area). The rooms are clean and the property is well-maintained. The screened porch is a great place to hang out to see and hear nature (It keeps out bugs). The neighbours are also friendly and helpful.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was the perfect place for us. Last time we were in Bocas we stayed in town and like it, but really loved being a litte outside of town. In the mornings and late afternoon we heard the monkeys and parrots nested in the trees by the house. Having dinner on the porch was so nice and relaxing. Next time in Bocas we will stay here again.
