THE BOCCAGNANO ESTATE is located in the Chianti Region of Tuscany,conveniently situated for touring The Chianti vineyards as well as Florence and the Arno Valley.

The farmhouse and pool are located in a lovely natural setting among forests and fields, in the hills above the Arno Valley, an easy drive from Florence on the Autostrada del Sole.

Stay in this authentic rural environment only ten minutes from the highway, and less than a 35 minute drive to Florence. The wine estates are minutes away. No difficult roads to follow, just a straight-forward jaunt up the main road from the highway exit, towards Siena. Return from your touring to relax by the pool, glass of wine in hand, breathing in Tuscan life!

The Estate, situated in a sun-filled clearing among forests of tall oaks, is in the Chianti Classico region and is a very comfortable spot from which to visit the whole Florence and Chianti area. There are also many interesting places to visit in the Arno Valley area between Arezzo and Florence, both about a half hour's drive away, with Cortona and the hill towns of Umbria not much further on.

Driving time to Rome is two and a half to three hours. Siena can be reached in 40 minutes by driving through the Chianti area, and SanGimignano in an hour. Driving time to Pisa is a little over an hour and a half by the highway, or relax and take the train to Florence, Rome,Piza, Arezzo,Cortona from the train station 5 minutes by car from Boccagnano.

Surrounded by woodland, olives and vineyards, the Faenzi family has now remodeled the estate house and farm buildings to include three roomy apartments, but only one is available for rental. The owner lives on the property and normally is here to receive guests. This farm has been in the family for three generations.

Awake and take a stroll through the woods. These typical old growth woods of Chianti are home to many birds which fill the air with varying songs throughout the day. Sit in the sun with your morning coffee, take a walk in the woods, a dip in the pool, and think about touring... later! This is not a place created for tourists, it is a Chianti home inhabited by local people and the owner, you are immersed in the true local culture.

The apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The traditional materials of brick and stone have been used for the remodeling to create a modern, comfortable environment with tradition in mind.

Boccagnano has been open to guests for many years but has just recently remodeled. There is a lot of space, a limited number of guests, and you will feel at ease in this comfortable, homey environment. Natural landscaping has been carried out to enhance the natural environment and the pool area.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:

Rental Deposit: One half of the total payment is required at the time of reservation. Full payment and damage deposit are required two months prior to arrival. Cancellation: The rental deposit is non-refundable unless the period reserved can be rebooked.
