I would reccomend this home to anyone. The pictures are truly just as things are. The owners are very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. The home is very spacious and the open concept kitchen/living room makes it easy to cook and visit at the same time. I was suprised at the number of dishes, pots and pans etc. that are provided. Having a bathroom or two on each floor was great and a washer and dryer are wonderful. It was quiet and very clean. We had a school of dolphins that we could see each morning from the 3rd floor window and were able to collect many shells during our walks on the beach (even though it was pretty cold and wet the whole time we were there). We had the opportunity to visit the Aquarium, Ft. Macon, the marine base and many restaurants. Lots more to see if you go during the warmer months. Overall, it was a great vacation and we are grateful our son is home safe.

MY FAMILY AND I SPENT THANKSGIVING WEEK AT THIS PROPERTY IT WAS OUTSTANDING! CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL. WE WERE ABLE TO PREPARE OUR THANKSGIVING DINNER WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS EVERYTHING WAS AVAILABLE! POTS ,BAKING PANS ,DISHES AND SO ON? I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO RENTING AGAIN! AND RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. THE OWNERS WERE MORE THAN HELPFUL. THE VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR!!!

My husband and I were so happy we chose this beach home for our few days stay in N.C. We were here for my son's graduation from Camp Geiger. Instead of staying in Jacksonville, we rented a car at the airport and stayed on Emerald Island where it was quiet and safe. This beach house was perfect! Not only was there plenty of room, it was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything you need, this place had it. We truly enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck looking out to the ocean. The master bathroom shower for two and bathtub for two, romantic!! The house was huge, even with two teenagers, there was so much breathing room. For what we would've paid for 2 rooms at a hotel, this actually saved us money and had all the luxuries! We highly recommend 2 the Beach. The owners are charming and tended to our every needs. If you need a nice restaurant, we did enjoy Riverview steak and seafood restaurant in Swansboro. The weather wasn't the greatest those days we were there, but we still strolled on the beach and walked around the neighborhood. On the rainy days, cable tv and the game room was a plus for the kids! We also saved money by shopping at the grocery store, the house has a large fridge and well stocked cabinets. We would definately rent this beach house again! Very cozy, yet lots of room, bravo!!

Spectacular Multi-Family Rental

The owners really were flexible with our accommodation needs for a multi-family extended weekend rental. The place comes fully supplied with everything you would expect a rental to have and more! We had 2 children under the age of 3 with us, and my only 1 request initially would have been to have a smaller tub for them to bathe in. However, after having them in the giant jet tub with the waterfall spout, I'm more than happy with everything!! The place is updated in many areas of the house and just "feels like home". I LOVE THIS PLACE! Thanks again!!!

Such a wonderful house and great for those with kids. Bright, cheerful and clean with a room for the children to hang out. The kitchen is well stocked just like the description says and they even have spices provided. I love not having to bring my own Salt & Pepper. The owners are so easy to work with and answered all my questions. It really was nice to have a fabulous, well-kept house which really made our vacation! It didn't feel like a rental but a friends vacation home. We have a family reunion ever several years in Emerald Isle and will definitely stay again. Thank you so much!!!

Great Vacation in a Beautiful Beach House!!!

When looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Emerald Isle for the 4th of July we hit the jackpot. There were eleven of us staying in 2The Beach. The floor plan of this house made for a very comfortable stay where everyone could have their privacy if they wanted. On the other hand the top floor was large enough for all of us to enjoy family time together. The views from the house were exceptional. Even though it is not directly on the beach there are clear views of the ocean from the top floor. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean the crabs we caught. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with anything you could need. We used the gas grill many nights and having beach chairs and body boards to use made packing the van much easier. One of the best things about the location of the house was the beach access. It truly is directly across the street and an easy walk even in the heat. The house was beautiful and was attractively decorated. Mitrina was extremely nice and communication was excellent! This was our 4th time staying in Emerald Isle and I would recommend this place to anyone!

We recently had a wonderful stay stay at 2 the beach. The house was beautiful....the photos don't do it justice!! The views of the ocean were top rate and the beach near the house was gorgeous, with tons of shells and dolphins almost every day. Access to the beach was directly across the street from the house and easy to use. The house was completely equipped with a chef's kitchen and everything you could need to make your stay easy and comfortable. We cooked delicious meals and then lounged around the spacious family room playing games and watching TV. Finally, the owners were a delight to deal with. They responded promptly to all questions and were considerate and kind to our family. I would recommend this house above any other on Emerald Isle.

My family and I just got back from staying in this wonderful house! The description was right on and the decor and furnishings were beautiful and very "beachy!" Mitrina was extremely nice and communication was excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone! We enjoyed rocking in the rocking chairs at night and looking for sea glass in the morning. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes. Enjoyed our vacation very much! Oh, and my family especially liked the foosball table in the game room!

My family and I had a terrific stay at the Beach House. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and had all of the amenities to make an ideal vacation and large family get together. My family and I (my husband, kids, my parents, and nephew) have all been going to the beach every summer for the past 35 years and we all agreed that this is the nicest beach house we have ever stayed in. Highly, highly recommend!

The location of this house is perfect. You can ride your bike to the store and walk across the street to the beach. The house was equipped with everything you needed for a big family dinner. The only thing this house lacked was a place to put our bikes. I would totally rent this house again!!

We had never rented before and had our misgivings, however our experience with this property and its owners was fantastic! The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and far roomier than it looks in the photos. We debated whether to rent on the beach or one row back and found this to be the best of both worlds. We had great ocean views and breezes and only steps to reach the boardwalk which led to the beach. Like being right on the beach without the beachfront price tag! There is no creature comfort that this house lacks. The owners have thoughtfully supplied everything for both convenience and comfort. They answered all my questions very promptly and all procedures were upfront and clear. All we had to do was relax and enjoy, which is exactly what we did with our 6 kids, 3 of their spouses and new baby granddaughter. We'd love to come back again!

My family and I recently visited Emerald Isle for a wedding. My brother-in-law paid a fortune for the house he rented, we paid 1/3 of the price for this home and it was FAR better than his! It is beautifully decorated and emaculant! It had everything you could have wished for at your fingertips! The owners were wonderful to work with! We were honestly dreading the trip thinking with the short stay and busy schedule that it would be more of a hassle than anything, but now I'm looking for an excuse to go back! The beach was perfect for the kids, it wasn't near as busy and crowded as Atlantic Beach. Hands down well worth the money!

We did a girls trip in Sept of 2009, the house is beautiful, clean, and very spacious. The owners have thought of everything you might need while on vacation, right down to the plastic wine glasses for the beach! Now that it is so very cold we are thinking about our next trip down, cannot wait!!

We had our girls weekend here. A fantastic location, plenty of room for our large group of women. We had a blast - the owners did a fantastic job of stocking the house. We loved the beach (right across the street and down the walkway), the deck with the ocean view, the open kitchen/dining room/living room was ideal. I loved the layout. We'll be coming back for sure!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay in this fabulous beach house! It has every thing you could possibly want and need in a vacation home. It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. One of the best features is that the access to the beach is directly in front of the house. Very convenient. The beaches were not crowded, we saw lots of dolphins, and there were lots of shells to be found. We had a very memorable vacation here. It was relaxing and the kids had a great time. We look forward to doing it again. Thanks for sharing your beach house with us! We'll be back!
