The New Grape Escape is a spacious 2,400 square foot home with a 540 square foot furnished and covered back deck, where sunset views are incredible. The house has 3 bedrooms & 3 baths, plus a bonus room. It is beautifully furnished with Italian Villa flare. The home is tucked into a quiet 12 acre estate with its own bio-dynamic vineyard, and views of the vineyard from every room. From the back deck you can also gaze upon our elegant rose garden, as well as the bucolic Dry Creek hillside.
All rooms have plush pillow-top mattresses, with allergy-free down comforters and high-quality bed linens. The New Grape Escape has three full bathrooms stocked with personal care products and plenty of fresh towels.
The Chef's kitchen is equipped with a Viking 6 burner stovetop and two oversized GE ovens, with convection and conventional baking. There is also a full size microwave/halogen oven when you are in a hurry for something to eat! The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. For your outdoor cooking we have provided a large gas Bar-BQ. Gourmet food stores as well as the local farmer's market are available for all of your favorite, fresh ingredients.
The New Grape Escape is the perfect place to unwind after a full day of winetasting and sightseeing. Come home and relax on the outdoor covered deck or take a relaxing soak in the spa. On cool nights you can put your feet up in front of the woodstove or just kick back and watch your favorite shows on the 42" plasma TV screen. The New Grape Escape is equipped with high speed internet, and premium cable TV, as well as central air conditioning and heating.

The Grape Escape sits on it's own Bio-Dynamic vineyard with panoramic views of the beautiful Dry Creek Mountains. The Grape Escape is unique for many reason but most for its location. The Grape Escape is just down a private country lane about five minutes outside of Historic Downtown Healdsburg and within minutes of three of the Wine Countrys most sought after valleys,the Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, and the Russian River Valley.

We can't thank Carol or Virgil enough for the time we spent here. We rented the house as a get away for my mothers birthday. The location, the ambiance, and the setting were perfect. If you get the chance, make friends with the little black cat while enjoying a glass of wine on the back deck! The kitchen is fantastic for entertaining and the house is as comfortable as can be. We look forward to coming back!

Last year we stayed at the New Grape Escape and we couldn't have had a better experience. Over the years we have gotten to know the owners who love wine country and have created a unique opportunity to enjoy Healdsburg. The home is beautifully appointed and the surrounding vineyards on this cul de sac property offer complete luxury and peacefulness. You can dine at great restaurants in town,only a few minutes away, or use the gourmet kitchen to prepare the local produce available from the farmer's market. After touring the local wineries you can sit back on the deck or in the hot tub and sample your purchases while watching the sunset. If water sports interest you, Lake Sonoma is not far away. This is truly a vacation in luxurious surroundings.

Every once in a lifetime you experience perfection. For us it is the Grape Escape. The photos can only show so much. The quality of the furnishings, the beautiful landscaping, the views!! These have to be seen to be appreciated. We recommend the Grape Escape to the most discerning. We can't wait to get back..

I can't rate this experience too highly. By the time you' ve checked out all that is on offer at the house, you'll need to sip some delicious Californian wine as you relax in the jacuzzi and watch the sunset. Or, if culture is more your style, you could explore historic Healdsburg and surrounds. Or maybe rent a kayak and play around on the Russian River? Your four legged friends won't be disappointed, either, as there are plenty of walking tracks around this property. Who knows? You might even be enlisted to smash some pumpkins after Halloween, to help your gracious hosts make bioidynamic fertiliser for the vineyard! When the day is done, and you've finished all the wine, then it's time to climb into your king size bed and allow the magical mattress soothe you to sleep. A good night's rest is guaranteed; you will wake up refreshed and eager for another adventure.
