In a quiet neighborhood just four blocks from the Main Plaza, and close to restaurants, the opera house, museums, galleries, and shopping.
This property offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, living room, dining room, an office, a center court-yard with a plunge pool, a secluded garden, one guest room downstairs and a guest room with a terrace upstairs
The villa has been totally restored and presents several special features, such as a central foyer that introduces an open curving sculptured stairway to the second level with an historic stained glass window at the top; a sitting area in the garden next to a stone fountain that invites time for a relaxed coffee or cozy evening dinner, an outdoor shower in the cool shade of trees, and interior floors of original hand-crafted tiles.
The villa is filled with light, and all rooms are open and airy. There is high-speed internet access. All rooms have ceiling fans and all bedrooms have air-condition. All beds have new orthopedic queen-size mattresses. Maid service is provided once-a-week; washing machine on premises.

We heard the first time from a friend of us about Merida and as we arrived there the first time we fell in love with the city right away. Things slow down there...life is easy...very relaxing...the most beautiful beaches are only 30 minutes away...warm clear water...just paradise !!! You sit in the sand and eat fresh fish under a banana leaf umbrella...it was a no brainer to get a house there !

Beautifully located in a quiet street in the middle of the historic center of Merida, our newly renovated and spacious art deco villa is designed for your comfortable, satisfying and pleasant stay. Sleep in white linen with air condition in the bedrooms, get up in the morning or when ever you desire, take an outdoor shower in the garden or refresh in the art deco fountain/pool. Walk on old handcrafted Italian tiles, look at original, contemporary oil paintings play your favored music, watch a movie from the well sorted DVD collection, meditate or read a book where you feel most comfortable (or don’t do anything). The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your favored dish. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the garden and listen to the relaxing sound of water. And if necessary, connect your computer and stay in contact with your company and/or your work. Your office is equipped with Wi-Fi and right next to the plunge pool.
