    • Dear Glicks We stayed in your lovely condo in June 2006. The accomodations exceded our expectations. It looks much better than it appears on the internet. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The upstairs bedroom areas were just as nice as the main floor. We went to the Ding Darling Wildlife refuge but we actually saw more wildlife walking to the beach. Incredible place!!! We brought home some beautiful shells. The only negative comment I have was the price of food at the Bubble Room. My advice to future travelers is to go there for lunch and you can still enjoy the atmosphere. We had a great vacation and would love to come back. Thanks Again, Donna

    • "My family and i stayed in your Sanibel townhouse in April 2005. The location and beach access are excellent and I was pleasantly suprised with the attention to detail in your home. The condominiums are very well managed and all in all I must say it exceeded our expectations. Thanks for contributing to a wonderful week on this magical island. Why can't life be like this all the time?" Best Wishes Patrick

    • We spent two idyllic weeks staying at Blind Pass. The accommodation was first rate. Everything was spotless and the condo was 'holiday ready' when we arrived. The location was perfect. There was a pool (which we overlooked) which we used everyday at some point. The beach was a short walk from our door. The island itself was beautiful and we had a fairly action-packed holiday - paragliding, wave running, dolphin watching, bicycling and visiting the wildlife reserve. With chldren aged 7, 13 and 15, we managed to enjoy a wide range of activities as well as have the odd day just 'chilling'. We left the islands only once during our holiday - to visit Sun Splash water park in Cape Coral. Having spent 4 days in Disney and flying from Ireland, Sanibel was a perfect second destination for us to spend the bulk of our vacation. The owners rang us the night after we arrived and again the night before our departure which we thjought was a nice touch. All in all - I would recommend Blind Pass to any of my friends thinking of visiting 'undiscovered' Florida

    • We had a wonderful stay at the Glick's condominium. Even in the off-season, during the month of August, we enjoyed our weeklong vacation. This condo is the ideal place for a family-- spacious and bright, with everything you need for a relaxing and fun family vacation. Our boys, ages 4 and 6 had a great time watching for gechos, collecting sea shells on the beach and even wittnessing baby sea turtles returning to the sea! Fantastic! We discovered so many fun things to do Sanibel Island and neighboring Captiva. We saw dolphins and manatees, visited the great local library on Sanibel and visited Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum. The boys loved eating at the Bubble room (goofing around in the gorilla cage) and playing the ring toss game at R.C.Otters while we waited for our dinner. Every day was an adventure . Too bad we couldn't stay another week!

    • We stayed in the Glick's condo for a week in February, 2003. Our stay was absolutely wonderful!!! We couldn't have asked for a better place and location. Our sons Max (4 yr) and Aidan (10 mo) had a great time! The condo overlooks the pool and is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. What more could we need to break up a hard winter in Chicago?! Our typical day would look like this: Around 6am our son Max would wake us up and we'd all eat breakfast and then head to the beach for sunrise and shelling. The shelling is incredible. We'd cary Aidan's stroller out to the hard packed sand near the surf and he'd watch the waves or pelicans (which came is soooo close). Max would run in the water and dig in the sand. Then we'd head home and Aidan would go down for a morning nap. Then Steve, Max and I would grab pool toys, sunscreen and the baby monitor and head for the pool for a couple of hours. Yep, we took the baby monitor to the pool - you are that close and it works!!! In the afternoon we'd eat lunch and then take a nap. After naps we'd either go back to the pool or explore the islands (Captiva is really close - 10 minutes). In the evening after dinner Steve would put Aidan down for the night and Max and I would head to the beach for sunset (6:30 - 7:00 pm). All the residents and renters were sooo nice. Tons of kids at the pool and Max had a great time making friends. The Glicks had a highchair and that came in really handy. We forgot our porta-crib and quickly found a rental place on the island that has EVERYTHING!! We went and picked up our crib and were all set. They deliver and pick up too. Just a little note about exploring in the afternoon. About 3pm traffic gets heavy and really, really slow if you go south. We would head up to Captiva instead. We ate lunch out at the Bubble Room and if you have a child who loves trains this is the place to go. Plus its alot of fun. We thought it was a little pricey for dinner. So we went to RC Otters for dinner which is just across the street from the Bubble Room, sat outside, listened to some low key music and really felt like we were on an island. The condo's layout is also wonderful if you have kids. Max slept in the second bedroom and we used the huge walk-in closet in the Master Bedroom for Aidan's "room". The kitchen looks out on the living and dining area so I could keep an eye on the boys when I was cooking. Max could also come down to the pool by himself to find either myself or Steve. The Glicks have really stocked the kitchen with everything you could need for making meals (you'll need to stock the fridge). Also there is a closet full of beach and pool toys, chairs and an umbrella. And a washer and dryer. Who could ask for anything more? Not us. It was perfect!!!

    • My husband and I, along with our three children stayed in the Glick's townhouse condo for a week in July, 2002. I found it while "surfing the web" for a family vacation. What a fantastic place! The beach is gorgeous with an abundance of shells. We found tons, many varieties. Everyone enjoyed swimming at the beach as the water was wonderful and not too rough. We all enjoyed the lovely swimming pool too. I liked being able to keep an eye on the kids as they swam in the pool while my husband and I relaxed on the porch of the condo. The sunsets on Sanibel are breathtaking and beauty surrounded us everywhere we went. I can't say enough about how nice the condo is. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The Glick's graciously provided everything they could think of that we might have needed from dishwasher detergent to beach umbrella & beach chairs. This was definitely the perfect place to relax and unwind for our family. We hope to visit many times in the future as we fell in love with the peace and tranquility of Sanibel. Anita Meyers
