My experience with this owner and the suite was exceptional. The space was exactly as advertised and the owner proactive in several ways. She asked me my arrival time and I found the lights on and the AC running so I didn't walk into a stuffy room after a long trip. There was a supply of coffee for the coffee maker and extras of all the paper products. The unit was exceptionally clean. There was a computer linked to a telephone line so calls to the mainland were toll free - how nice is that? I had difficulty with my wireless connection to my corporate computer and the owner called several times to help me and make sure I was able to work as I had planned. The separate living space in this suite worked very well when clients wanted private space to talk and the fact that it is very separate from the bedroom made the clients more comfortable than in one large room. I would highly recommend this suite and its owner.

The condo was lovely, the amenities were much-appreciated, and the location was perfect for our needs as the parents of teenagers: near the mall, grocery stores and beach, and away from the craziness of Waikiki (parents of young children might also appreciate that Ala Moana beach has gentle surf and lots of families). Ruriko was very kind and responsive to requests/questions. Would highly recommend! (Though we had a car so we could visit our relatives, many travelers would be happy relying on bus service from this location. Make sure to visit the food court and Shirokiya Japanese department store at the mall.)

Our stay at this property was excellent! The owner accommodated to our needs and more. After arriving on a five hour delayed flight, a new portable crib was waiting for my infant son to use. The location of this property is very convenient to the public bus and trolley system that is easy to use to get to Waikiki. Walking distance to the Ala Moana beach and park is a great place to spend. This is a great place to stay at if you don't want the stress and congestion of staying in the heart of Waikiki. My family is looking forward to staying at this property again.

We stayed here for 9-nights in March. This is the best place for our vacation in Hawaii. The suite is very clean and comfortable, and there are everything in the suite what we need. We went to Ala Moana shopping center and Ala Moana beach park everyday during our stay, and we enjoyed beautiful mountain view at night. The owner is very kind and helpful, so we definitely stay here again when we visit to Hawaii.

Found the location ideal - close to great shopping/restaruants/beach and in Honolulu, but not in downtown Waikiki with its congestion. Beautiful view from rooms. Great convenience and comfortable accomodations. Hope to stay again soon!

We stayed first two days at a hotel in Waikiki and moved to this suite at Ala Moana Hotel. We completely enjoyed Great Location, Beautiful room with Great panoramic views! We have already planned to come back to Honolulu and next time we definitely book our entire stay at this beautiful & clean suite in Ala Moana Hotel. The suite is very spacious and Ruriko is a very nice and considerate host... The hotel is located very close to the Convention center and Ala Moana Mall (a ton of stores and shops which is impossible to explore in one day)... It is also within walking distance to the nearest harbor and the beach... Even though the hotel is more of a condo and does not have any room service, there is a grocery store in the bottom level of the mall and restaurants within walking distance... Overall, I had a very good stay at the Ala Moana hotel but I think the bed could be a bit more comfortable... =)
