This unit is located in The Resort Conference Center within The Gulf Shores Plantation in Gulf Shores, Alabama. It is located about 13 miles down Hwy 180 W toward Fort Morgan, a historical attraction of the area.
This is a ground-floor unit, so there is no need to climb stairs or maneuver luggage into elevators. The unit has been recently remodeled with a neutral paint scheme, tile throughout, and new appliances. It also has a private patio with a view of the tropical landscaping and a pool. It is located beach side; however, there is no gulf view, and pools, landscaping, and hot tub areas are located between the unit and the beach.
The amenities are wonderful: 7 pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe and volleyball areas, barbecue grills, a gate and a guard, on-site management, and a cafe. There are laundry facilities conveniently located on-site near the unit; however, there are no washer and dryer within the unit. The property is also located next door to Kiva Dunes golf course. The beaches in this area are much more private than in the surrounding areas. This is a perfect beach getaway for two.
$100 booking deposit required within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit is not refundable; however, it does apply toward the rent total. For example, if you book 3 nights, the $100 deposit is due within 7 days of booking. Upon departure, you would only owe $200.

- This is a convenient, ground-floor unit, so there is not need for stairs or elevators. Loading and unloading the vehicle is a breeze. The unit is located beach side; however, the complex is set farther off the beach. The unit has no gulf view, and you must walk past two pool areas and the hot tub area to reach the boardwalk to the beach. The complex is beautifully landscaped. There are several pools at the complex, including one indoor pool area with a game room. There are several basketball courts. There are beach volleyball courts, horseshoe areas, putting greens, and hot tubs as well as Connections Cafe. There is no beach view from the unit. There is no washer or dryer inside the unit; however, there are washers and dryers available at the comlex, and they are conveniently located near the unit.

My husband and I have visited Gulf Shores since we were children. We have always loved and have always been drawn to the beautiful white beaches of Gulf Shores. Our dream was to own a vacation property at the beach. We thoroughly enjoy spending time at our unit in The Gulf Shores Plantation, and we love giving others the opportunity to make memories at the beach!
Why the Owner Chose Plantation West
We chose to purchase our unit in The Gulf Shores Plantation for many reasons, including the following: wide, private beaches, beautiful and well-maintained landscaping, and tons of amenities. We feel safe with the guarded entry. The beaches are located away from the city, so they are generally less crowded and much more private. The Plantation offers tons of amenities and is located next door to an award-winning golf course. Boredom is non-existent at The Gulf Shores Plantation.

We love the amenities and security the Plantation offers. We also love the wide, more private beaches and the fact that we are located next door to an award-winning golf course. Several unique restaurants are located nearby. We love to relax on the beach all day and visit Tacky Jacks in the evening where we can dine bay side, while enjoying the refreshing beaches and the breathtaking sunsets.
