Walter, our taxi driver will pick you up at the San Pedro Airport and take you to Fido’s dock (pronounced Fee-doe-z), a local’s favorite Bar and Grill and great place to prepare for your scenic Caribbean boat ride to your home in paradise. Our Concierge staff will greet you at the resort’s dock and walk you through the spacious complex to your villa. Groceries, soft drinks and alcohol can be pre-ordered and delivered to your villa upon arrival day at suenomsd at gmail dot com.
Due to our proximity to the reef; snorkeling, fishing, kayaking and hobie cat sailing are activities you can experience right out your front door. Sueño del Mar provides many recreational opportunities for you to choose from:

Amazing Vacation Experience!

My wife and I have travelled extensively throughought the Caribbean basin and this has been one of, if not the best, vacation experiences we have ever had. The staff was exceptional and truly accommodating. We were met at San Pedro airport and given a personal tour of town by the concierge (on golf cart) and picked up a variety of food and drink items for our stay. We then went by boat (30 minutes) to the resort where we were met with a tasty rum punch as we got off the boat. All staff were very friendly and went out of their way to attend to our every need. The accommodations were even better than what we expected. The grounds were meticulous and very well maintained. The food was delicious and every effort was made to cook the food how you wanted it prepared- even if it was not on the menu. There is another resort within walking distance that has a full service dive shop and we took advantage of the water activities including diving and snorkeling. The barrier reef is only about 1/4 mile from the beach and we we able to take the kayaks out to the reef, hook up to a buoy, and do some snorkeling. There was abundant fish and coral to be seen. The reef is in excellent shape as it is a national park. I cannot say enough about the concierge, Jesus. From begining to end, he was there to make this vacation experience truly amazing. He went out of his way to be helpful. He even took us on a personalized guided trip that included a bike ride up the beach, a walk along rocky point and 2 hours of snorkeling. As this was our first trip to Belize, we are so thankful that we ended up a Sueno Del Mar. It was everything we could hope for and far exceded our expectations. The only regret we have is that we did not stay longer! I highly recommend this place to all travellers!
