We just returned from our stay at Slow Dance. The house has a wonderful floor plan for a family of 7. It is close to the center of the island which makes it easily accessible to shopping and dining. The beach at this location is superb! The deck leads right down to the beach....no dunes to climb up or over, no sand piled up on the steps. It was easy access for anyone! All the utilities were in good working order, and there were plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. The views from the large windows were great! If you intend to stay at Slow Dance and have toddlers, I would recommend taking two baby gates as there are two inside stair cases. Other than that the home is fairly baby proofed with outlet covers, and a crib. The owners are easy to work with and responded quickly to a call about a problem we experienced. The problem was taken care of quickly and easily and without disturbing our vacation time at all!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in this house in 2009, and we love it! It's right on the beach (no long walkway from the house to the sand). It's so refreshing knowing that I can relax on the deck and the beach is close enough that my children can play in the sand, and they are still so close. The BIG picture window in the kitchen makes me feel like I'm still a part of it all even while cooking and cleaning up! We are thrilled to be renting this house again this year. The only draw back is not being able to open the windows. We always love going to sleep to the sounds of the waves, and some of us were disappointed in not being able to do that. Other than that, it is the perfect house!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
