"A Wonderful Extented Stay!!!" To anyone who might stay @ Papakea in future, We where there from Dec 31st, 2009 to Feb 15th 2010. It was a "Great" stay Jill Huschke from Chase n' Rainbows was the rep. that helped us. She was completely honest about the up grades they where making to unit D101, which was a 1 bedroom, garden unit before we arrived. She even sent us pictures before we arrived of the up grades. The unit was nicely cleaned and newly painted and new carpet and ceramic tile, plus afew other things. Very nice in general and comfortable. The location was just past the fish ponds and past the pool, a very short walk and you where on the beach. Standing on our lani you could see the ocean. The buildings are abit older, but do not be a fraid to stay there, the grounds are "Immaculate". With many gardeners on staff that sweep up leaves and take care of the fish ponds, plant new plants and flowers, every day. The flowers, plants, and trees around the place where "Beautiful". Such a peaceful place to vaction. 2 nice clean big pools, 2 big clean hot tuds, 2 put-put golf, (even & clean)2 shuffle boards, tennis. Lots to do right @ the resort. Weather was great, a couple days of day rain, some nite rain, afew breezy day. The beach was right there, stepped onto beach and you could walk a good mile or so either way.Some good snorkeling right on the little reef. All in all we loved it! The staff was great, very polite, Sarah one of the resort people who helped with reservations to go and do things very helpful and pleasant.Chase n' Rainbows took care of everything we needed in the unit very fast.
