This home is managed by Black Wolf Lodging which gives you many advantages over other properties. First, you are checked in personally by a local, someone who lives in and knows Twin Lakes. We can answer your questions about what to see and do, what is open at that time of year and where the favorite hideaways are that only locals know. In the winter we have access to unknown snowshoe and snowmobile trails and in the summer we can tell you what the local trail conditions are and about the best photo opportunities. Secondly, we are in the neighborhood 24/7 to assist you with any problems that may arise, not hours away and potentially unreachable. Finally we have access to specials like discounted lift tickets and raft trips that others don’t offer. Located along the ridge's highest peak, our guests are surrounded by an extraordinary 360 degree panorama of Colorado's highest 14'ers, stunningly serene Twin Lakes and miles of incomparable vistas.
Just a fifteen minute drive from Leadville's shopping, galleries, Opera House, restaurants and historic charm, High Lake Haven is conveniently situated for excursions to Buena Vista and Salida. Twin Lakes area offers fishing, canoeing, biking, wildlife viewing, hiking, cross-country skiing and dining while other mountain destinations are a scenic 35 minute to one hour drive, e.g., Copper Mountain, Aspen (summer only), Vail, Keystone, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge. Leadville's Mt Massive 18-hole Golf Course, world class rafting and fishing, hiking, mountain biking, sledding and boating are nearby. Additional area offerings include horseback riding, picnicking, jeep rentals and exploring nearby ghost towns. Or - just relax above it all in this new, comfortable and beautifully appointed mountain vacation home. Access is easy year-round for your group of 2 to 6.
High Lake Haven offers two queen beds, one double bed and a queen size sofa bed, three full baths, two living/family-game room areas, a completely appointed kitchen, games, movies, multiple TV channels, washer/dryer, gas grill and three decks. This home is "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided as well as paper products, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.
No telephone - cell service is good for most providers. No internet - bring your Wi-Fi adapter for your cell phone.

ALL reservations include your check out cleaning for stays of 3 nights or more. Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval with an additional cleaning fee. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays.
