This is a beautiful small cottage on Lake Tahoe built in the 1950's. It is the guest cottage on a 10 acre estate that has been owned by one family for about 50 years. This cottage is rarely rented as it is mostly used by the family.
The house has been redecorated in the last few years and is lovely. It is surrounded by trees and has an incredible view of the lake. It is located on a bluff and you must walk down a private staircase to the the private beach. There is an outside deck with a seating area and table. Homes in this area sell for $5-15 million. This is unpretentious, old Tahoe at its finest!
The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed and lake view. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with the lower bed being a full size and an additional twin size bed in the room. There is one bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks. The kitchen has new appliances and a washer/ dryer. Parking for 3 cars.
There are lake views from every room in this house except the kid's bedroom. This is a perfect house for a family vacation.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Beautiful, relaxing location and privacy. Easy to get to Tahoe City or South Lake Tahoe. It is located halfway between the 2 towns. It is about 20 minutes drive around the lake to either town. Great hiking. Emerald Bay is 10 minutes away. DL Bliss Park offers hiking trails along the lake to Emerald Bay. The sand on the beach is rare white granite.
