Located right on the mountain with ski-in/walk-out access to the Elk Chair, this brand new, four-story, 2100 square-foot chalet will enhance your vacation in Fernie. The master suite is located in the large private loft, and features a queen-size bed, an open bathroom with a two-person Jacuzzi tub and stand-up shower, and a patio offering spectacular views of the newly expanded Curry and Timber Bowls. There are two bedrooms on the third floor -- one with a queen-size bed, and the other with a double over double bunk bed and a single over single bunk. There is a full bathroom with double vanities, as well a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen, a large dining room table, a half bath, and a balcony with a natural gas barbecue and a private hot tub.
This stylish unit can accommodate 12 people very comfortably, and has its own heated, two-car garage. It is especially designed for families! Many of our guests are two families renting together. The two bedrooms with queen beds are ideal for parents, and the third bedroom great for kids as there are two sets of bunk beds. There also is a Sofa Bed in the living room area. Private hot tub and Natural Gas BBQ.
Fernie Alpine Resort is known for its fantastic skiing, and is becoming known as a mountain biking Mecca -- with the Elk Chair operating in the summer months. Take your bike up the lift and explore radical steep declines, as well as gentle intermediate and advanced trails for all ages. Explore the Elk River area in the spring, summer, and fall. It offers great fly fishing, white-water rafting. Enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and golfing.

Great Weekend in Fernie

This property was a great location and space for our weekend in Fernie. The house was quite spacious and comfortable and was a very short walk to the elk chairlift, making it very convenient to access the ski hill. It was quite clean and we had everything we needed. I would definitely use this again for future vacations.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our group consisted of two families that have been visiting Fernie together for about 5 years. We have tried out a number of different accomodations on the hill, and this was by far the most superior. The home is beautiful and spacious and well equipped for a larger group. The layout is great for sport enthusiastists with plenty of storage on the ground level. The living room and kitchen space permitted our group to dine together, play games and watch movies. We really enjoyed both the outdoor hot tub and the indoor jacuzzi as well. Thank you Heidi and Gary for allowing our group to have such a wonderful vacation in your warm and welcoming home.

Stayed here with my friends on a golfing weekend. The place is very large with 6 beds all of them quite large. The place is quite new, and in great condition. Exceptionally clean. Hot tub on the balcony. Overall a great time, would not hesitate to book again!
