The Experience:
What's it like staying on a houseboat? The boat is in a protected part of the marina, but there is some occasional movement during the day when boats pass by. It is usually very calm during the night, although some guests find a bit of gentle swaying is relaxing and can lead to a very restful sleep.

Why the Owner Chose Boston
I grew tired of boring hotel rooms while traveling, and realized that the funkiest parts of town were often right at the waterfront. I combined my love for house boating with my desire to offer a fun alternative to hotel stays.
The Unique Benefits at this House Boat
Everything you will need for your stay is provided. All towels, linens, blankets, etc... are all waiting for your arrival. The kitchen comes complete with all the pots and pans, plates and cutlery you will need, while a Keurig coffee maker make that morning cup of coffee while you look out over the harbour that much more enjoyable.
Owner's Map of Boston
For about 10 years I lived aboard a restored houseboat in Boston Harbor. I really fell in love with the lifestyle. Having a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning, grilling up some steaks on the roof deck in the evening, and being rocked to sleep by the waves at night was a great way to live!

We stayed at Aquarius one week over New Years eve 2009/10. It was a great experience to sleep afloat while snow was outside. The boat is comfortable and well equipped; we could even use the barbeque. The habor location is quiet (at least in December). The landlord service was exceptional; we were in need of help two times, and we got help within 30 minutes. A very recommendable stay.

Hi Ryan, We just want to thank you for a great trip. It was very clean and relaxing. We used the deck up on top and what a beautiful scenery. At night time it was quiet and we used the boat taxi which worked out very well.

Ryan, thank you for letting us use the houseboat over the weekend. We had a great time. We were very impressed with how clean and well stocked the houseboat was. With the great breeze and the windows opened we never needed the ac! The marina was very quiet the whole time we were there. Thanks again for the wonderful time. Kurt

However, we have boat loads (pun fully intended!) of comments from our guests that have stayed with us on our other boats in the marina here in Boston.
