Looking out our Chalet windows you will see beautiful Redwood trees, birds, deer and yes the occasional Bear. During the Summer and Fall you can sit on the deck with your morning cup of coffee and enjoy the sun and peace and quiet. During the Winter months it is a winter wonderland with white snow, green trees and the blue, blue sky.
The Wolf Den is a place to bring an entire family or group of friends. Make great feasts in the kitchen. Challenge each other in the game room or just sit by the fire and read one of the many interesting books on our bookshelves.
After dinner adjourn to the loft and watch a video or play a board game on the game table in the living room.
You will need to bring your own linens, TP and paper towels. 4 queen beds (includes loft's futon and living room sofa bed) 1 double/1 single bunk bed. Everything else is there.

Year Purchased: 2001
We live in the Central Valley and loved escaping up to the mountains during our hot valley summers. We started looking for a second home in the Arnold area in 2000 and finally found what we considered a perfect spot in Big Tress Village. We were looking for a house with the master bedroom on the first floor and a lot that was flat with easy access in the snow as I am disabled.
Why the Owner Chose Dorrington
Our house is located a short distance from Bear Valley Ski Resort, Big Trees State Park and close to the town of Arnold. The Gold Rush towns of Angles Camp and Murphy's are an easy drive down Highway 4. They have many wonderful restaurants and wineries. Ironstone Vineyards is now also a concert venue where during the summer you can hear a wide selection of bands and artists.
The Unique Benefits of this Single Family Home
Our house has a fully stocked kitchen. A table that seats six with an extra table and chairs in the closet. A nice large living room with fireplace and Wilma (our whimsical art fixture that holds magazines). The Master Bath features a "Mr. Steam" Sauna. Upstairs you will find a game room with pool table, Miss Pac Man, pin ball, TV, mini fridge and a Juke Box. The loft area is the media center where you will find the TV, videos, fax machine and internet connection.
