I have been traveling to the North Shore for many years to surf and have stayed at numerous places. But none like this. The property is back off the Kam highway so its very quiet and peaceful. Although you can hear the waves when they are big which is amazing. The convinience for a surfer is walking across the street to some of the worlds best surf spots. The tropical outside shower and the spa are well worth the time and the accomodations are very cozy. The owner is charming and very giving. We have recomended this oasis to many of our friends and family.

We were more then pleased with our stay. This place was like a private estate tucked away. We enjoyed the grounds with large fruit trees all over and tropical flowers. We could walk across the street to the famous Sunset beach. Our bedroom had a great view of the tropical property. We loved going into Haleiwa it was like stepping back in time.

I've been visiting the islands for over 30 years and staying at the Wellness Retreat brought back the true meaning of Hawaii and ohana. The minute we arrived and drove in, we knew we were in paradise. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The house was warm and welcoming. We were greeted as though we had been there before and the staff made sure to make us feel welcomed. The house was completely set up for us. All we had to do was buy our groceries. Loved the spa, the decks and being able to walk on the property and relax in a lot of different places. Having the this property away from the main road and just steps to the beach would make a great place for families. The staff on the property were always available for us whenever we needed assistance. They even took us to a great farmer's market. On our last night, they made a beutiful fish dinner for us with all the trimmings. I can't wait to come back. It was the Hawaii and ohana I've missed and now blessed to know that we have the retreat to bring me back. Mahalo for a great vacation. See you next year!

Have stayed here several times, and everytime its is getting better. Stary peacefull nights, and mornings, the oportunity to experience yoga and wellness packages daily right on the property, the most refreshing non-crowded beach sessions across the street. The fruit trees right outside our room, and a wonderfull yard being filled with more and more medicinal and vegtable plants. Its a great place to relax, to get healthy and fit, to learn about wellness and to be next to some of the best surf in world. The beach loft itself has just had the BATHROOM AND KITCHEN REMODELED, and looks and feels supper clean and upscale even though you are in a very relaxed beach environment surrounded by pure nature. In the upstairs room the stream can be heard and it is a wonderfull way to drift into sleep. Highly racomend the experience, and cant wait to be back soon. THANX FOR THE STAY.

My third stay was the best...the addition of the spa was really nice.I love the location because it is so close to the famous Sunset Beach but you feel like you're out in the country. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. The living arrangement was really nice with a large deck looking out over the beautiful yard...the bed was super comfortable. The stay was completed with a fabulous massage given by the owner of the property who was a very friendly and positive person...she was always available to fulfill our needs. We had a great stay...highly recommended !!!!

With the rush and hustle of Honolulu left behind as you drive down Pineapple hill you begin to unwind as you desend. By the time you reach this property and drive down the driveway you are ready to let yourself let go. This is my second time to this special place and it was good before but fantastic this time around. The owner has done some nice remodeling and everything is so welcoming. The option to join in on a yoga class is such a great way to start your day and having the massage service available is amazing. The ocean is just about 200 yards away to slip into and be refreshed and the sand so clean and warm. Rochelle is awesome and shows so much Aloha. Can't wait to go back again.

We ended up staying on this fantastic property by fate. First we were only going to stay one night but ended up staying two ( would have stayed longer but we found this place at the end of our holiday :( The lush landscape, wrap around deck (with hammock), king sized bed, soaker tub, open kitchen with everything you need, excellent library and every other comfort of home you could imagine! Not to mention just a stones throw to Sunset Beach!!! Heaven on Earth. Thanks again for the amazing memories.

I am going to try to be constructive here, because ultimately we would hope that the owner of this property makes some changes before continuing to rent this property as it was a huge disappointment for us and the only thing that caused us stress on our stay on Oahu. First, this property isn’t cheap to rent and so with the beautiful photos, great description, and amazing location we really thought we were treating ourselves to a nice place to stay. We were very wrong. The biggest disappointment was the kitchen, it was awful. The whole house had seen better days and was very dirty, but the kitchen took the cake. The oven was so dirty I didn’t use it and the pots and pans were worn beyond use. The cupboards had not been cleaned nor gone through in possibly years and while searching for a pot to cook rice in I found a hardly used rice cooker but immediately tossed it back as I found some sort of insect nesting in it. That was my largest disappointment, but for my husband it was the lack of cable. We didn’t want to watch a whole lot of tv, but in the evening when our son was in bed early, we had hoped to relax and watch a little. The owner’s ad says there is cable and two TV’s, however we did not have the cable issue resolved for a full week of our two week stay and the TV that was suppose to be in the bedroom was no longer there. Next, the rest of the house was spacious and the king sized bed was very comfortable and the saving grace of this rental. The bedroom had a large walk in closet that was great for all of our stuff but the owner had left behind clothes in the drawers (sweat shirts and lingerie!). The ad said it was kid friendly, but I would not recommend it for young children (we have a toddler) as there was lots of breakable nic-nacs, trophies and cupboard full of toxic cleaners that were a constant stress for us to keep him away from. I suppose the worst part of the stay was that we really felt like a huge inconvenience to the owner (who also lives on the property (attached to the rental) with several roommates). When trying to resolve the cable problem she made it feel like we were being picky about the details and then tried to accuse my son of poking a hole in the dilapidated screen door . She later apologized for the accusation, and admitted that the house was a party house previously?? So, if after this review you still decide to rent the property, make sure you get your damage deposit before you go in cash. We didn’t and it to
