We are avid snow skiers at WISP mountain resort and enjoy the Deep Creek Lake area of Western Maryland during the summer. We purchased this land 4 years ago due to the location. This property overlooks the Youghiogheny Valley and was a perfect setting for a new log vacation home near Deep Creek Lake, Western Maryland.

We had such a great time- the house is beautiful and in an area that is quieter, still close enough to enjoy all the fun of the lake though. Derek has been wonderful to work with and we are looking forward to staying again soon!

My husband and I and two other couples stayed over the MLK holiday weekend and we absolutely loved our stay here. Our friends loved skiing at Wisp and while they were gone we kept the home fires burning. The place was wonderful - the pictures truly represent how nice everything is. The property is well maintained and clean. While there, we had a question regarding the hot tub and the owner called up back very promptly and was extremely nice and helpful. We would all recommend this place whole-heartedly. We are visiting the area again this winter and when I told the others we were too late to get into this place as it had already been snatched up they were all pretty disappointed.

Everything from reserving the cabin through the enjoyable week and beautiful location was first rate. Just a great week, beautiful home and we will be coming back in 2010.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in this Beautiful Cabin! So peaceful, relaxing with spectacular views! We have been here 8 days and it’s so hard to leave, this house spoiled us. Thanks for the sharing your piece of Heaven....

What a wonderful experience! We had such a relaxing vacation here in Western Maryland. The house is in a perfect location to all the outdoor activities but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We look forward to visiting the Kendall Retreat again!!!

We had a great time here in this beautiful area of Western Maryland. We swam in Swallow Falls on a very warm day. The water was refreshing during the hike. This house is a great retreat home. We enjoyed the mountain coaster and dune buggy ride on the ski slope area. The view here is wonderful and we relaxed playing games here in the evenings.

This was an amazing experience. We had a wonderful time with all of the amenities provided within the house and the neat woodwork. The Kids enjoyed the fires in the pit.
