Get up close and personal with several different types of cows and sheep.
There is a military trail that was used by the union army during the revolutionary war;
a historic & naturalist wonderland.
You will drive on scenic roads, to the Farm, passing many dairy farms with breathtaking views of Vermont to the east. Travel down the driveway past the 2 lower pastures, cross Winchell Creek, to the main house located right up the hill with scenic views from every window.
The 1/2 mile private driveway dead ends at the house. The only visitors will be the mailman, and the farmer who tends the animals, Mr Burch.
A hikers paradise with miles of private trails and rustic roads.
The Original Briggs family home site is a 20 Minute walk from the present house. The Jerimiah Briggs family settled on this farm in the late 1700's, the earliest recorded property owners. There are approximately 5 miles of hiking trails, all are marked and mapped.
While Hiking remember to only leave behind your foot prints.
Don't miss the upper pasture with rippling waterfall.

There are 6 downhill ski areas within 45 miles.
The closest, West Mountain with snow tubing for the young ones, is only 14 miles away for your winter skiing vacation.

This Farm is an experience of a lifetime! Its just minutes away from lake geroge and minutes away from a big outdoor shopping mall. The restraunts I went to were very good!!! I never thought that staying on a farm could be so luxorious... The house is absolutely beautiful, full kitchen great living room with a plasma screen tv for all my sport watching and better yet they installed central air!!! The Kitchen is equipped with everything in need to have a meal for 2 or even a meal for 25!! The property is breath taking, 1100 acres of land that is adventerous and ready for hiking. I would advise anyone to stay here. it was a great vacation and I would go back every Year!!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
