Are you ready to escape to the most beautiful lake in the world? Come to Whispering Pines Lodge located a few minutes drive from Lake Tahoe and a multitude of fun, year round activities.
Our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood 3-5 minutes from Incline Village's private beaches, world class golf courses, the Tahoe Rim Trail, the Hyatt resort & casino, grocery stores, and many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy the pillow top king and queen beds, 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, the luxurious Egyptian cotton towels, and the kitchen fully accessorized with new dishes and appliances.
Bring your boat. There is plenty of room to park it in our circular driveway.
The house can accommodate up to 2 families -- one bedroom has a king size bed, another a queen and a third bedroom has twin beds. We can provide fold-out futons for extra children if needed. The house is two stories, with bedrooms upstairs, and kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room and laundry area downstairs. There is a 2 car garage and circular driveway. The setting is a half acre lot in a quiet neighborhood and on a street with very little traffic. The yard is enhanced with beautiful tall pines and sunlight.
We'll give you access to private Incline beaches to swim at the lake or the pool, soak up the sun, and picnic while watching the beautiful Tahoe sunsets.

Year Purchased: 2005
My husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law own and manage Whispering Pines Lodge in Incline Village. We live nearby in Crystal Bay. Our daughter and son-in-law and their three beautiful daughters live across the street from us. Our homes are 10 minutes from Whispering Pines. We love living at the lake in our family compound - more relatives live nearby, too. It's a small community where everyone knows each other and looks out for each other.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, The Woods
We have lived at Lake Tahoe since 1976. We raised our kids here and have grown to love every season at the Lake: we treasure the days of summer sunshine that warm the lake surface for our refreshing daily swims; in the fall the light sparkles on the water and mountains while we hike the Tahoe Rim Trail to admire brilliant gold aspen groves nearby; on the crisp, blue days of winter we ski at Diamond Peak five minutes from our house, snowshoe in the Mt. Rose Meadows and come home and warm up before the fire with hot chocolate and cookies; and in spring we bring out our bikes and gardening tools to welcome the longer days and new growth.
