Ocean House is conveniently located - look at our Google map to see what's near-by and also some of our favorites. Walk to The Hangout for food, fun and live music - great for the whole family.
Our condo is fully furnished and well-stocked for your perfect vacation. Both the master bedroom and living area open with sliding doors onto the spacious beachfront balcony outfitted with sturdy cast aluminum furniture. Watch the dolphins play in the Gulf of Mexico while you have your morning coffee!
BEDROOMS: The master has a king bed with euro pillows, and the second bedroom has one twin and one queen bed; all mattresses are pillow-top and very comfortable. Master bedroom has new furniture and new 32" flatscreen TV, and both bedrooms have all new bedspreads. Twin Aerobed also available.
KITCHEN/BATH/LIVING AREAS: These areas are ceramic tiled. You will find the kitchen fully stocked for all your family meals and entertaining. A handy breakfast bar separates the kitchen and living area. We have baskets filled with seasonings, coffee, tea, cream and sugar, and popcorn. You will find paper products to get you started. We furnish dish and dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent.
Living room and dining furniture are new, and the living room has a big-screen TV.
There is approximately 950 sq ft of living space. All linens are furnished.
OTHER AMENITIES: There are 3 TV's with DVD players. Cable TV offers over 100 channels including 6 HBO channels. There is free high-speed wireless internet connection, or bring your own cable. Washer/dryer/ironing board/iron are in the unit. We supply various games, books, and family DVD's. Hairdryer in master bath.
BEACH CHAIRS/TOWELS: You will find two beach chairs and two beach towels in our unit for your use, and also various beach games, ladder ball, sand toys and a baby beach cabana.
BABY ITEMS: We can provide a clean pack n' play and high chair for your use for small charge - please inquire.
You will love the ZERO-ENTRY BEACHFRONT POOL - great for the little ones! It's the longest pool area in Gulf Shores with waterfalls and seating in the middle, and also offers a pergola with seating, kiddie pool, BBQ grills, and grassy area at each end of the pool. There are beachside showers, seasonal beach service, and poolside restrooms. The entry to the building is covered, and there is a guard at the gate.
Ocean House is a low-density complex on the quieter part of West Beach Blvd, yet walking distance to seafood restaurants, shops and Gulf Shores Public Beach. You will love the sugary white sand for all types of beach fun or just plain relaxing. If you are a golfer, you're in luck! There are numerous golf courses in the area with reasonable fees.
We work hard to keep our condo in tip-top condition and give attention to details; we consider it our "HOME AWAY FROM HOME." Housekeepers telephone number will be provided should there be an issue while you're here. You will find me very easy to work with, and I will go the extra mile to make your vacation special.
Our condo is 100% owner managed, and I have a business license and pay all local, county and state sales tax on a monthly basis.
This is a non-smoking unit, and sorry, no pets allowed - condo association rules!
7 -night minimum rental for summer months (June 2 through July 28, 2012) - Saturday-Saturday. 4-night minimum during Shrimp Festival. and holiday week-ends. Only checks accepted for monthly rentals.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean House II
We chose to buy a vacation home in Gulf Shores because of the beautiful white sand beaches, great and affordable golf courses, wonderful seafood restaurants and the laid-back feeling here. It was perfect for family vacations; now they are visiting with grandchildren!!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Ocean House is conveniently and centrally located. I take a long walk every morning when I'm visiting. It's about 10-15 minutes walking east on the beach to the main public beach where you can have a seat on the boardwalk and watch life go by, or walk west to the beach house area and enjoy the solitude.
Great seafood market - good prices and friendly service. Small grocery store, ice cream shop and restaurant in same complex.
This is the main public beach in Gulf Shores. There is a boardwalk here, parking, and a number of restaurants and shops are located at this intersection.
One of the original "joints" in Gulf Shores. We highly recommend having a burger sitting out on their deck!

My family's trip to Gulf Shores was wonderful. This condo was exactly as it is showed on the website. The owner, was extremely pleasant to work with. Condo was very clean, furnished well and plenty of linens provided with extra beach chairs, towels & little things to play with in the ocean. The location was perfect! Close to everything, only a short drive to shop, eat etc. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from our balcony early in the mornings while enjoying our coffee. This was my parents first time to Gulf Shores, and they said it was by far the best vacation! Very relaxing vacation! Can't wait to come back!

Our trip to the Gulf Shores was wonderful! This condo was exactly as described and extremely clean. No worries in having enough linens or other supplies it was all there. We had two children and four adults and it was very spacious for our stay. The owner was very kind and organized with details. There are many places in the nearby area to visit and take the kids to. The zero entry pool was great for the little ones. I would recommend this to anyone with this size family, and will look forward to staying here in the future. P.S. We went in mid-September and couldn't have had a better time to go.

My family and I stayed the last week of Sept 2011. The condo was great and the weather was perfect. Ellen was so wonderful to work with. I will definitely be staying here again! The condo had everything and more. I have two small children and the pool is perfect for them. The zero entry really made it easy for them to get in and out by themselves.

Ellen was so great to work with me as I planned a vacation for my family that included a one-year-old. The condo has that extra touch that is noticed right when you walk into the room. Great view, great pool, and we loved that we didn't feel cramped in the space. We have stayed in Gulf Shores before, and this was our best accomodations to date! We would love to go back!

Our family had a wonderful vacation! We were traveling with a 6 month old baby and the condo was perfectly equipped! We loved the bedroom arrangements, the super balcony and the location. We had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy the beach and our grandchildren.

My wife and I are lucky we found this condo. We have been vacationing in GS for years and this was by far one of the nicest condo's we have rented. The owners are wonderful to work with and make everything very easy. We highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. It has a wonderful view of the beach, was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything needed to enjoy the stay. It was great having chairs, towels, and toys provided that we could take to the beach as well as games and things to do in the condo once the sun went down. We really enjoyed seeing the full moon at night and watching the dolphins during the day from the balcony.

We stayed a week in January. The weather was sunny and the temps were in the 60s which meant afternoons were spent in the sun out on the balcony. The condo is nice and the bed was comfortable. I tried hard to sound sympathetic when I called home where it was bone-chilling cold. We'll be back!

I actually did not get to go on the trip, but my husband and father did, and they loved the condo and the location. The weather was windy and chilly, but they still had a relaxing time watching my son play in his golf tournament and relaxing at the condo.I can saw Ellen, the owner was great to work with on the reservations, and would definitely book another stay at this condo.
