I'm very interested in filling up December weeks, and am open to negotiated rates. It's serenely quiet here now - your personal paradise! Clean-up from Tropical Storm Ida is complete, and the skies are blue and the sun is warm! E-mail me today to book your last-minute get-away.

Spend Christmas at the beach with your family! Our condo would be a good choice - the roasting pan awaits. We can furnish highchair and pack and play, and I'm stocked with numerous toys, books and DVD's for the whole family.

Our condo is fully furnished and well-stocked for your perfect vacation! We are on the 8th floor, and the view is spectacular. Both the master bedroom and living area opens with sliding doors onto the spacious beachfront balcony. There is new cast alumininum balcony furniture here not yet pictured. Watch the dolphins play while you have your morning coffee!

BEDROOMS: The master has a king bed, and the second bedroom has two twins; mattresses are new. Master bedroom has new furniture, and the carpeting in both bedrooms has been recently replaced.

KITCHEN/BATH/LIVING AREAS: These areas are ceramic tiled, and the walls recently painted. You will find the kitchen fully stocked for all your family meals and entertaining. A handy breakfast bar separates the kitchen and living area. We have baskets filled with many seasonings, coffee, tea, cream and sugar, and popcorn. You will find some paper products to get you started. We furnish dish and dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Sleeper sofa converts to queen bed.

The bathrooms are both updated. All linens are furnished; you'll love the plush new towels. There is approximately 1000 sq ft of living space.

OTHER AMENITIES: There are 3 TV's with DVD players and 1 VCR. Cable TV offers over 100 channels including 6 HBO channels. There is FREE high-speed wireless internet connection, or bring your own cable. Washer/dryer/ironing board/iron are in the unit. We supply various games, books, and family DVD's.

BEACH CHAIRS/TOWELS: You will find two beach chairs and two beach towels in our unit for your use, and also various beach games, sand toys and a baby beach cabana.

BABY ITEMS: We can provide a clean pack n' play and high chair for your use for small charge of $10 per item for your entire stay; $15 for both. Housekeeper can bring these in prior to your arrival.

You will love the ZERO-ENTRY BEACHFRONT POOL - great for the little ones! It's the longest pool area in Gulf Shores with waterfalls and seating in the middle, and also offers a pergola with seating, kiddie pool, BBQ grills, and grassy area at each end of the pool. There are beachside showers, seasonal beach service, and poolside restrooms. The entry to the building is covered, and there is a guard at the gate.

Ocean House is a low-density complex on the quieter part of West Beach Blvd, yet walking distance to seafood restaurants, shops and Gulf Shores Public Beach. You will love the sugary white sand for all types of beach fun or just plain relaxing. If you are a golfer, you're in luck! There are numerous golf courses in the area with reasonable fees.

We have arranged for on-site maintenance and housekeeping should there be a problem while you are on vacation. Telephone #'s will be provided. We work hard to keep our condo in tip-top condition and give attention to details; we consider it our "HOME AWAY FROM HOME." You will find me very easy to work with, and I will go the extra mile to make your vacation special.

This is a non-smoking unit, and sorry, no pets allowed - condo association rules!

Weekly rentals only June 5 - August 14, Saturday to Saturday.

  • This is definitely one of the nicest accomodations we have had in over 10 years of vacationing in Destin and Gulf Shores. Our first experience with VRBO has been positive and we will definitely rent with the Greers again if circumstances permit next year. We very much appreciated the thought shown with the kitchen items provided as we like to buy seafood at Billy's in Bon Secour and "cook in". The Taylor's from Tennessee.

  • Beautiful condo....it was decorated very nicely and the master bed was very comfortable. We appreciated having the stocked kitchen and not having to run to the store right away upon our arrival. The beach chairs were great (saved us some money!) and the HBO and DVDs came in handy the day it rained. Thanks again, Ellen. The condo was lovely, you have it decorated very nicely and there was so much room, not to mention the view from the balcony is breathtaking! We could walk out on it a million times and each time it would take our breath away seeing something new! The dolphins coming out in the evening were a real treat! You were a pleasure to talk with on the phone about all the details and your sense of humor is great! You couldn't have been sweeter!   • This is a lovely vacation complex! The setting is quiet and beautiful, and the pool is incredible! The zero-depth feature of the pool was great for our little granddaughter. The floor plan of the condo is perfect, and the amenities make it truly a home-away-from home!
