  My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in April, afte the spring break rush. The owner, Ellen, was great to rent from. She replied quickly with availability dates and answered all questions about the property. I like dealing with the owner one-on-one. She even answered questions on New Years Day! The photos are all accurate, the description was spot-on, and the condo was even supplied with shampoo, soap, paper towels, toilet paper and napkins. Our friends rented another condo in the same building during the same weekend and theirs didn't come with anything - not even hand soap! They were quite jealous of our wonderful, updated condo! The beds and linens were plush and confortable, and I'm a neat freak so I was happy with the cleanliness of this condo. Beach chairs, towels, and toys were provided! There was even a aero bed and a pack-n-play. We would love to come back with the kids. The pool was one of the largest on this area of the beach. We saw several families with young children taking advantage of it. It was a little chilly at night so we used the taxi services but in warmer weather you could walk to just about any restaurant or shop within a mile or two. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends and I hope we are able to rent from Ellen again.

  We found this condo to be exactly as promised -- and a wonderful place to spend several days. Great location, beautiful views. Condo was extremely clean with lots of nice "extras", from well-stocked kitchen to a collection of books, quality towels and sheets, and things like paper towels. Ellen was so helpful and made working out the details very easy Wish we could have stayed longer!

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  We were able to stay at this condo for 5 nights over the Labor Day Weekend. The pictures represent the place perfectly. Ellen has decorated everything beautifully. Ellen was also so easy to work with! She checked in on us via email several times during our stay. She took great concern in our inability to use the pool due to Hurricane Issac filling it with sand and sea water. It didn't effect our trip at all though! We spent all our time at the beach. I'd highly recommend staying at this condo or any other that Ellen owns. You won't be disappointed!

  Ellen made this condo rental easy from the beginning...this was our first "official" family vacation so I was a little nervous as to what to expect, especially with 3 young kids. She was able to answer any questions for me before we left, which was beyond helpful! The condo was exactly as pictured, so you know you are walking into before you even get there! The location was perfect...within walking distance from some of the shops and restaurants, and of course right on the beach! Our kids had so much fun and definitely made use of the amazing pool (which we were VERY fond of the zero entry)! Cannot wait to go back next year! Thank you!

  This is an awesome condo, everything as described and more. Pictures do not do this condo justice you must see it to believe it. The views off the balcony from dawn to sunset are STUNNING!! Ellen was a WONDERFUL person to work with and we will be coming back each year. Thanks Ellen !

  The owner of this condo has high standards and it shows. They emailed us after our arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory (it was) and offered to answer any questions. The condo itself was perfect for our group of four. It is located on the 8th floor with great views of the Gulf of Mexico. We were able to sit on the deck and even on the couch by the deck doors and watch the dolphins swim by. The condo's front door is steps from the elevator. Leaving the lobby of the Ocean House you are steps to the pool and the beach beyond. We found the condo and its surrounding property to be clean, quiet & family-friendly. The condo is beautiful and has everything you need. The $20 parking pass is a great deal; there was always parking right next to the main level entrance. Carts are provided for moving luggage in and out. I can't think of any reason not to stay here. Gulf Shores offers lots to do and so many good restaurants! I recommend the oreo cheesecake at Hope's Cheesecake. A bit pricey but worth it (hey you are on vacation)! Also really liked the pizza at Papa Rocco's. Great for eating in the condo after a great day at the beach or shopping the outlet mall at Foley. Also liked Sea & Suds, Ribs n Reds and The Shrimp Basket. We used Pleasure Island Parasail out of Orange Beach for a fun time parasailing. Great operation with a fun crew. Highly recommend this condo in Ocean House II and would love to return again someday.

Next time, also try Old World Bakery for carry-out pizza and also sandwiches and salads. Papa Rocco's and Old World are both good. And sometimes you need a break from seafood - but not often.   This is the first time we have ever rented a condo, and it was awesome! It was just as the photos show on the site...what a beautiful view. This unit is tastefully decorated, and has has all of the amenities you could ever need. The kids enjoyed riding the "boogie boards" and the sand toys, while the adults enjoyed the beach chairs. I loved the set up the bedrooms. It gave the younger kids their own space as well as ours. The beds were very comfortable, and very much enjoyed opening the sliders to the open gulf. Weather could have not been better. Thank you Ellen for providing this condo...we would stay again and recommend to others.

  My family's trip to Gulf Shores was wonderful. This condo was exactly as it is showed on the website. The owner, was extremely pleasant to work with. Condo was very clean, furnished well and plenty of linens provided with extra beach chairs, towels & little things to play with in the ocean. The location was perfect! Close to everything, only a short drive to shop, eat etc. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from our balcony early in the mornings while enjoying our coffee. This was my parents first time to Gulf Shores, and they said it was by far the best vacation! Very relaxing vacation! Can't wait to come back!

  Our trip to the Gulf Shores was wonderful! This condo was exactly as described and extremely clean. No worries in having enough linens or other supplies it was all there. We had two children and four adults and it was very spacious for our stay. The owner was very kind and organized with details. There are many places in the nearby area to visit and take the kids to. The zero entry pool was great for the little ones. I would recommend this to anyone with this size family, and will look forward to staying here in the future. P.S. We went in mid-September and couldn't have had a better time to go.
