Welcome to our Francis Lake Home, located in Bernhard's Bay, NY. We are accepting reservations for spring, summer, and fall 2009. Come relax and let go for a week or a long weekend and enjoy the beautiful scenery, go on a wine tour, or just relax around a campfire. Discounted rates apply in the off season (Sept. - Mid June)
The Lake House is located 4 miles north of Oneida Lake (Route 49). We have over 400 feet of Lake Frontage and the 3800 square foot home is situated on about 15 acres. You'll feel like you’re deep in the Adirondacks as there are no other homes on this 50 acre lake. Only mature evergreens and wildlife.
Inside:
Spread out in this 3800 square foot gorgeous lake home. The walls and ceilings are pine tongue and groove complimented by country oak hardwood floors throughout and a huge stream stone fireplace in the great room. There are 4 bedrooms, a loft area and 3 1/2 baths total, including 2 master suites with attached baths. All rooms in the home enjoy lake views. Enjoy the 62" widescreen television with a top notch surround sound system for a theatre like experience in the great room. Or relax on one of the cozy sofas by the lodge style fireplace. In the recreation room downstairs there is another entertainment center with couches and sofa's and a foosball table. Upstairs, is a cozy loft with 2 Italian leather sofas drenched in sunlight let in by a huge arching window.
The open kitchen has a wrap around rustic style bar made of stream stone and rustic pine timbers. The kitchen and the dining room look out an open 9 foot picture window over the lake. Appliances in the kitchen include: Ceramic top Range / Dishwasher / Refrigerator / Microwave / coffee maker, toaster, & blender.
After relaxing get a full workout on the Gold's Gym or run on the tread mill for some cardio.
Outside:
Facing the lake is a huge 54' x 12' deck overlooking a large lawn. The deck has ample porch furniture to relax on, plus a Webber gas grill for steaks, fresh fish or whatever you like. On the covered front porch (54' x 7’) there are several other chairs and a wooden swing. The property is about 15 acres with nature trails leading to the waterfront dock (24' x 12'), complete with a 14' aluminum boat with electric trolling motor to explore all of Francis Lake. There’s also a fire pit within eyesight of the deck, in case you want to keep an eye on the kids. There are also horseshoe pits on the back lawn.
Occupancy Max: 8 adults or 12 total including children.
No smoking and No pets.
Beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twin, and 2 additional queen air mattresses.
Furniture: 4 couches, 2 love seats, 3 sofa chairs
Dining Table with 6 dining chairs and bar with 6 bar stools
Linens provided for beds.
