When we first stayed at this condo we knew we had found our ideal place, and plan to keep coming back every year. Some of the things that make this place a great choice are: - The location. Not only is it a very short walk to the beach, but there is also a very well stocked small grocery stock and 5 decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. And the pool is just outside your door. There are several large grocery stores and many more restaurants a 15 minute walk downtown or a $2 cab ride. So there's no need to have a car except for touring. - The owners and property manager and great people to deal with, and very responsive to any issues. For instance, last year the shower in the master bedroom wasn't working too well. This year it was fixed and works great. Other small concerns were dealt with immediately. As well, the owners have taken care to provide everything you need to prepare meals with. Other condos are not nearly so well equipped. And the unit is nicely decorated and super clean. - The condo complex has a beautiful landscaping and an attractive mural by the pool. There is a mix of owners and long term renters who are quite friendly and welcoming. - Health and safety You can drink the tap water! There are English speaking doctors, pharmacists and opticians should you need them. You feel safe walking around at night. The grates on the windows and doors eliminate any worries about theft, as well as the patrolling night watchman. Who could ask for more?Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful condo for 5 nights. Everything in the posting is 100% accurate. Adale was helpful from the first time I contacted her, even before arriving I knew exactly where to have the bus to drop me off and how to tell the taxi driver where to find the condo (the complex is well known). The condo is spacious, well stocked, clean. The complex is wonderful and the neighbours friendly and helpful. The beach is literally a two minute walk away (possibly only 90 seconds:-)). The beach is clean, safe and the water amazing! The town is a 15-20 minute walk away, however the immediate area has tons of amenities too (grocery store, cafe, restaurants, bicycle rental etc.). I could go on and on. I'll keep it short: I would recommend this place to all my friends and family (in fact I think my parents will be renting it out in the near future). Stay here, you won't be disappointed. We were happy to come back to this home away from home every night! I miss it already and hope to go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Los Juncos Unit 7 is accurately depicted in the pictures. What the pictures don’t reveal is the attention to detail in providing excellent amenities. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, with every imaginable appliance, cookware and lovely glasses and dishes that make you feel at home. Bedding and towels were abundant. Adale and Henri also provided lawn chairs that could be taken to the beach. The grounds are immaculate and Josh the gardner was busy by 6:am. One of the other owners loves gardening and has embellished the grounds with more plants. A most pleasant environment to enjoy sitting on the patio and reading. The unit is in close proximity to the gorgeous beach and walking to town is a pleasure and safe even at night. Downtown , not only boasts of outstanding restaurants, great juice bars but fine shopping from gifts to clothing. The Congo in the Pasicifico building has trendy clothes, an enjoyable section of artwork plus a most enjoyable sandwich and juice bar. Grocery stores are very modern and exceptionally clean. Our favourite restaurant was in the Pasicifico complex, the Citroen. It must be noted that all of the meals that we had were great. We took advantage of Tico tours for an adventure and a jungle tour. We were most impressed by the knowledge and passion that our guides displayed about their country. Another day trip took us to an isolated beach. En route we saw dolphins and a family of three whales. I would suggest that the owners’ association consider providing additional poolside chaises. Unit 7 reflects the pride of Costa Rica . Pura Vida!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We were very happy with our stay at Adale's condo. It is just across the road from the beach, a lovely pool a few steps from your door, beautiful landscaped grounds. The condo itself is really well equipped, including 2 pool loungers, 2 beach chairs, pool and beach towels, lots of linens and everything in the kitchen you need to cook. It is also very attractively decorated. The patio is a good size with a table and 4 comfortable chairs. There is a mini market 2 blocks away which has everything you need to prepare meals, if you don't feel like going downtown to the larger supermarket. Also there are 2 good restaurants within a 5 minute walk, La Dolce Vita and Pacifico. (Note: Pacifico only takes credit cards, no cash) There are several more good restaurants downtown, a leisurely 20 minute stroll on the beach path. We often saw howler monkeys just across the street from the condo, and also there are many interesting birds to see if you just keep your eyes open. The weather in Coco in the winter is consistently hot, sunny, with rain a rarity. There are many interesting tours available in the area. For wildlife lovers, the Palo Verde River Boat Tour is a must. As I like to say, "What's not to like?".Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I rented this wonderful condo for 9 nights. It offered all the creature comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen, lounge chairs for the pool, plush towels, beach chairs, not to mention a great directory full of local information. We loved the pool and with such a small complex had it to ourselves often. The complex was well maintained, with the pool cleaned daily. This condo was close to the beach and to town. We would walk into town along the beach daily and ate at almost every restaurant during our stay. We never had a bad meal, in fact they were all extremely tasty and cheap. We found everything we could ask for in Playas Del Coco and at the condo and will definitely be back!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is an extremely nice condo, very comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation very easy for you. For example, there are already some staples in the kitchen (such as salt and pepper, spices, some salad dressing, etc.as well as laundry detergent) waiting for you so you don't have to run out and buy them. The kitchen is fully stocked with every kind of cooking equipment you could want. We found the walk to the beach was very short and pleasant, and was actually a great way to get to town since you could walk along the shore all the way to downtown Coco. The pool and grounds are maintained daily -- clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks to Henri and Adale for their thoughtfulness.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We bought our first vacation rental in the Fiji Islands when we traveled there for our Honeymoon. We enjoyed the experience so much we bought a condo in Arizona in 2009 and have been on the lookout for our next investment and found it in Costa Rica!

We visited Costa Rica 3 years ago with a group of friends. Really loved the heat, the people, the scenery. When we were looking for another vacation rental we thought it would be the perfect spot.
