Our corner unit is conveniently located on the first floor of a 10-unit building, and situated among gracious, older homes in the lovely Judge’s Hill area of Austin, 806 W. 17th St. It is a fifteen-minute walk to UT, the famous 6th St. area—fine restaurants and hot nightspots; and nine blocks from the Capitol. Sleeps two to four with one bedroom, a queen bed, living room sofa bed, a queen. Full bathroom. A washer and dryer are in a laundry rm. attached to condo.
Appointments: a 50” plasma TV and elaborate Bose sound system in the living room, wide-screen TV in the bedroom, high speed internet, a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The terrace is quiet and shady with a private entrance, bubbling fountain and an umbrella table.
This is a great getaway—for a vacation in the beautiful capitol city; a football or baseball game at the UT stadium or Dishfalk Field; or a night at the famous 6th St area, and at dozens of music performances for which Austin is famous. It’s difficult to find a better location, the best of Austin within short reach.

The condo was WONDERFUL!!! The area is quiet and cozy. The condo made me feel like I was in a home away from home. The bed was comfortable. The porch was nice in the cool evening. I will stay again!!

The place was very neat and quiet. Perfect for a couple. It was centrally located to the campus and capitol, which made walking a breeze. The owners even called to make sure we were enjoying our weekend and everything was okay. I would definitely stay here next time we are back in Austin.

Two of my friends and I stayed at Scott's place during SXSW festival and we had a great time. The place was clean and spacious, with comfortable furniture. We originally thought there would be a spare third bed (as there is a large in the bedroom and a double foldout couch in lounge) and when we called Scott he was more than helpful, and just told us to go and buy one and that he'd give us the money. We ended up being fine with what was there anyway, but it was great of him to offer. Also, my friend had an issue with some mail she needed to leave and enter the country, and through talking to Scott and the cleaner, everyone bent over backwards to help. This was common of all the people we met in Austin! The walk to the city centre was around 20minutes (less if you wanted to just head to Wholefoods), which was great. I would definitely come back to Austin, and would be more than happy to stay at this apartment again. Thanks guys!

My wife and I just completed 30 days in the Judge's Hill condo during December. The location is fantastic as advertised. Walkable access to UT, downtown, the Texas Capitol complex, and Lady Bird Lake. The furnishings and appliances were top notch, the bed is comfortable, and everything was clean and presentable. Considering that we had neighbors above and next door, it was quiet and peaceful. We had a couple of minor questions initially, which Scott and Neal addressed immediately, to our complete satisfaction. The unit is compact, but it is arranged to be very comfortable for two people. It faces north on the 1st floor of a 3-floor 10-unit complex, so the patio is in almost complete shade, which would be great for the hot season. Two sliding glass doors let in a great deal of light, and it was pleasant to sit out there during the warm winter days. The neighborhood has many old, elegant mansions, and feels very safe. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone seeking a close-in Austin experience.

This place was great. It was right there, walking distance from the stadium, and anything else we needed. We were able to enjoy the our Longhorns weekend. The ammenities were top notch as well. Now if the Longhorns would have won, it would have been a perfect weekend. Thanks for teh great place to stay, I would highly reccomend to anyone.

I've stayed at this location for over a month, and have loved it. The owners have given the unit a set of high-quality finishes (including a WAY bigger tv than I have at home), a great stainless freezer/fridge, and even granite counters in the kitchen. The private patio (with grill) is excellent - pleasant and quiet. But the best feature is that the owners are incredibly accessible, responsive and accommodating - that makes all the difference in the world. Would absolutely stay here again - for a few days or a few months.

What a gem of a condo and location! This condo made my stay in Austin extra special! I rented for two months and enjoyed every minute. This condo was beautiful when I arrived, felt like home, the patio is private and ideal for spring/summer/fall living. The neighborhood is PERFECT! Huge trees, quiet, safe feeling, nice neighbors, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING that downtown Austin offers. I rode my bike to Whole Foods, book stores, the university, shows, shopping, tennis courts, parks, coffee shops. I highly recommend this condo for those that want to be close to downtown living, library, great restaurants and want to live in one of the coolest oldest neighbors in Austin. It is called, "Judges Hill." Debra

I would highly recommend this listing to anyone who wants to work or play in the downtown Austin area. I was able to walk to all of my business appointments while I stayed here and also set up my laptop on the kitchen table to work while in the unit. It is close to everything and made it easy to go out at night and listen to the great music of Austin. The patio is a great place to sit and eat, listen to the radio or just relax. The property is very clean and well-appointed with plenty of linens, storage and new appliances/counter-tops. The owner helped me get in after a very long flight to get here and has checked in with me via e.mail since my arrival to make sure things are going well. I would recommend this listing to anyone and will definitely check if it is available for my next business/fun trip to Austin.
