This quaint area of Jerusalem was the first area to be built with private finance outside the Old City. The property has just been renovated to a fine standard and retains much of the style in which it was built 160 years ago. This central location allows you to visit so many places of importance and entertainment by foot. The Old City is about a 7 minute walk away through the new and beautiful Mamilla Mall filled with fine shops and restaurants.

Across the road is Independence Park which takes you up to Nachalat Shiva and Ben Yehuda Street pedestrian malls, and Machane Yehuda market is a 15 minute walk away and a short bus ride where you can buy your fresh produce for the day if you don't want to go to the supermarket down the road which is open daily until midnight.

Sit out and enjoy your breakfast on the balcony overlooking Hamaaravim Street, enjoy the air and soak in the special Jerusalem atmosphere.

    • Just returned from staying here and it was great. We have young children and the central location was great as we were very close to the old city, Ben Yehuda street, Rechavia, etc. The owner was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. Parking was somewhat a challenge, but manageable. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A definite thumbs up.

    • Hamaatavim is a great location. Conveniently close to Ben Yehudah, Mamilla Mall and The old city! The unit is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and apartment has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. Owners were a pleasure to deal with.
