Enjoy yourself in this beautifully decorated cottage on the river. The home is packed with plenty of things to keep you busy (from puzzles, books, movies, indoor and outdoor games). Take lazy afternoon naps in the hammock while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Don't forget to bring your beach pails to collect shells and build sand castles on our sandy beach.
After a fun day of crabbing and fishing from our private dock, you may want to soak in the hot tub while watching the sun set. Wake up early with a cup of coffee and catch nature at its best.. deer, fox, and many species of birds. We have even spotted nesting bald eagles. When feeling energetic take a "cruise" out in the paddle boat or kayaks.
You will find this homes so relaxing. It has 3 living areas and the sun room overlooks the river. You can sit and watch the children swim and the boats go by as you soak in the sun from our large furnished deck.
Bring your boat, the marina is less than 2 miles away. We are at the end of the Wicomico River, where it meets the Tangier Sound. In the fall check us out for nearby waterfowl and hunting grounds.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the river. It was very peaceful and it offered so many things for the children to do. They enjoyed kayaking and we enjoyed watching them as the water was shallow enough that we could watch from the deck. The big raft was perfect and we all had great fun on it. The jellyfish appeared on the 2nd day but I have read that they are everywhere this year. The house was perfect as it offered all kinds of space. With the children, we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. There were so many private enclaves within the house that one could read or watch tv or play games without disturbing others. Great, spacious beach house. Lots of room to park, big TV and eating rooms, nice bathrooms and beds. Well supplied kitchen. Big deck that has the best sunset on the Shore. And then there's a sandy beach, long dock and baited crab pots, huge inflated island, paddle boat and kayaks. Best Shore house yet and we've been visiting the area since 1983 when I worked for the Daily Times in Salisbury.
