Location: Marshall, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA (25 Minutes to Asheville, 10 Minutes to Mars Hill)
Accommodations: House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)
Flynn's Cove, the setting for this 2 1/2 bedroom, 2-bath jewel, is filled with an alluring spirit for both artist and muse. Tucked away in woodsy seclusion just north of Asheville, this property boasts thirty-five private acres for hiking, a stocked fishing pond, a rocking chair porch with close-mountain and pastoral views, and plenty of stars. You'll immediately find that this gentle rain forest environment with its diverse wildlife has the power to heal, amuse, and inspire.
The artist-owners have also appointed this property with indoor hedonistic luxuries: a vaulted great room with open kitchen and miles of countertop; a conversation area with comfy seating that invites napping and visitation equally; a whole-house music system and theatre-surround-sound entertainment complex; a long, deep claw-foot tub inspired by Neptune--big enough for soaking a couple, and a huge walk-in tile and glass shower for soothing away the day's endeavors.
In the master suite you'll find an upscale King-sized bed with a tree-house view. The second bedroom offers a queen, and in the third you'll find a convertible futon, comfortably sleeping six. And since these owners value time and space to create above all, you'll find along with the expected amenities, a bounty of unexpected personal touches to nurture and delight the artist that dwells within us all. With literature, music and movie libraries at hand, there is no lack of intellectual stimulation to compliment the mystical outpouring you'll experience in this very special place. If the goal for your time away is regeneration and deep relaxation, Flynn's Cove is the perfect sanctuary.
Each season is remarkably and uniquely spectacular. For those guests desiring an extended stay, we offer packages and off-season discounts, as well as creative cooperation with art, literature and music programs nationwide. Take time to rediscover yourself. This magical property, being offered for the first time, will fill reservation times quickly. For fastest booking, please call us at 828-712-4448.
We take our motto from one of the masters, Bob Dylan: "If you're not busy being born, then you're busy dying." Come to Flynn's Cove and get rejuvenated for what comes next. . .
