Our "Cottage by the Falls" is a 1BR/1BA mountain getaway located in a beautiful wooded area. Paved roads bring you to the cottage except for the last 1/2 mile that is on a community gravel road that is canopied with lush trees. With lots of windows you can enjoy the view of small private waterfalls from the living room and bedroom as well as feel the cool mountain air!

The kitchen looks out towards the mountains and depending on the time of the year, you always get a different view. The back deck is another great place to enjoy the bubbling branch. There's even a small stone bridge over the branch and a stone table to help enjoy the outdoors.

Exploring around the property is always fun when other activities don't take you away! Special highlights inside include the king tempurpedic bed, a queen pullout in the living room, a large stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, country kitchen, carpeted living room and bedroom, and new laminate/tile flooring in other rooms.

Located 12 miles from Franklin,(about a 25 minute drive) in the Cowee Community, the cottage is just a few miles from the local Ruby mining, activities on the Little Tennessee River plus all other great things that Macon county offers! It's a great place to come back to to "hear the water" and relax after a short day trip to other surrounding attractions such as Cherokee, Highlands, and the casino.
