This spacious mountain side home overlooking the South Fork of the New River is located in a tranquil, scenic setting with soothing long range views and is only 2 ½ miles to the Parkway. Located at the end of a dead end road for privacy and security. Enjoy the short walk down the hill for tubing, canoeing or fishing in the river. The huge covered porch with picnic table, rockers, swing and hammock lets you relax and enjoy the peace and serenity.
The large greatroom offers wood floors, comfortable furnishings and a large, cozy fireplace with an indoor charcoal grill at one end. It includes a large TV with DVD and cable. At the other end is a dining area with seating for eight, plus another four at the kitchen bar. The kitchen area is fully equipped including D/W, microwave, coffee maker, all utensils, dishes, separate cooktop and wall oven.
Two sets of oversize sliding glass doors allow wonderful mountain and river views from both the living and dining area and lead out to the huge porch. Dine al-fresco on the picnic table on the covered porch. In addition to the greatroom, the main level also includes 2 large bedrooms, a full bath and a carport.
The other level features a generous family room with another fireplace, seating area and ping pong table, 2 bedrooms, full bath, laundry with washer/dryer and a covered patio with gas grill. A perfect vacation home for large or extended families.
Completely furnished and equipped including linens and towels and hair dryers. Spend summer nights under a blanket with the whole house fan or usually not needed window AC units. You need only bring paper products and food.

We were there Aug. 15 to 22 and we had a wonderful week, The place was awesome, and very clean. We had lots of room and the views were beautiful. We will be using this listing again in Oct. for a week with my side of the family. It had everything we needed and more. The owner was very nice and responded to my call very quickly..( nothing major, just cable was out.But fixed very quick ) I have already spoken to friends about this place, they are wanting to plan a trip down there too..Can't wait to bring my grandbabies down there...
