French door leads into a small balcony on the back of unit with a slight view of the ocean. Tennis court next to unit, clubhouse and pool a very short distance. Why the Owner Chose Chateau La Mer II
We chose Destin for a vacation rental because it has the most marvelous beaches in the United States, easy to fly into if needed and is a short drive from our home. It has great temperatures year-round and is a great place to visit. It is especially great for those snowbirds who want to come south 4-6 months out of the year. My family has been vacationing here since 1984. There is something for everyone of all ages to do.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Just a short walk to the beach (beach access is allowed at Captain Dave's Seafood Restaurant directly in front of the entrance to our condo complex). Its very close to an outlet shopping center and mall/theatres. Many great restaurants within walking and driving distance. I enjoy biking or walking to the coffee shop which is 1.5 miles away.

Great place to stay....short walk to uncrowded white sand beach, clear ocean water, great pools, good food within walking distance, minimal traffic. The condo was a very comfortable, spacious and quiet place to stay. Very clean and well kept condo and neighborhood. Tennis courts were great as well. All the activities at HarborWalk a short drive. Ideal place to stay at the beach and enjoy the beauty of this area. Owners were great to work with and made the stay exceptional! Highly recommend.

Helen (owner) is FANTASTIC. She was wonderful to work with my family on making sure we got the most days for our budget. The condo is WONDERFUL - just the right size and very close to the beach; the closest most affordable condo in DESTIN, closets were big and roomy, beds were so comfortable, kitchen clean and shiny when we walked in, plenty of towels, it was GREAT- The water was amazing, the food was great, the location is just far away enough so you aren't stuck in traffic in main Destin area - but you still have the great beautiful beaches. I wish I could tell you about the pool - but we stayed at the beach the entire time. We have been to Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Panama City and this was the best trip of all - My family WILL be staying here again next year. Best price for the Best Trip. The condo was exceptional and there was ample room for our party. The condo was clean and very well maintained and we would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place at a great price right across from the beach and Captain Dave's Seafood restaurant.- also a great place to eat dinner. We had lunch at the Crab Shack just a quick walk down the beach and just relaxed everyday at the beach. We went to Shopping at BayWharf and saw fireworks and band there. Very nice for family events. We also went to Boat House and AJ's famous for raw oysters and crab claws! We will definately be coming back. No noise at condo and a great veranda to just sit and relax and enjoy coffee every morning!

We found this condo quite comfortable, well maintained,There was a new stove,in kitchen & new tile floors. It was nice having tennis courts outside our door, & the clubhouse as well. Cap't Dave's restaurant across the road was quite enjoyable as well as the Crab Trap just down the street . Jean & Larry
