Welcome to our amazing 2 bedroom penthouse unit 416 at Mayan Villas!
Our ocean view condo is nestled in a tropical oasis with a Mayan influenced design. Hand carved by the region’s most talented Mayan artists and craftsman, the entrance, a great Mayan arch, beckons you into a world of it's own. It is known throughout the region as the "jewel of Playa" because of the Jade colored Gecko shaped mosaic and glass tile pool that sparkles like a gem. To top it off, a 40 foot waterfall cascades into the pool.
Our penthouse offers amazing views of the Caribbean Sea, just half a block away.
Mayan Villas is located in the Zona Primera (Premier Zone) of Playa del Carmen. Ideally located between the Caribbean Ocean and 5th Ave., you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean with the convenience of the best restaurants, nightlife and shopping, just steps away from your vacation home.
Unit 416 offers 2 bedroom and 2 bath luxurious accommodation on two levels and is just under 1800 total square feet, including our terraces
The master bedroom has a king size bed and full bath with walk-in rain head shower. The second bedroom offers the option of two twin, or a king bed with its own bathroom and terrace.
The unit is equipped with a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Tikule granite counter tops and an island. The open concept unit has custom built-in furniture. The main level also offers a outside terrace for dining or just relaxing.
Wireless and cable access as well as flat-screen TVs are available in every room.
The rooftop penthouse terrace offers stunning views to the Caribbean Sea at day and the lights of Cozumel at night. The heated Jacuzzi is surrounded by lush landscaping for added privacy. In addition, there is a outdoor moon shower.
The rooftop dining option includes a gas BBQ, outdoor kitchen and a shaded dining table under our custom made palapa roof that seats 6.

Why the Owner Chose Maya Villa
We discovered Playa Del Carmen back in the early 90th. and loved the place. In 2003 we moved to Playa and still live down here and enjoy paradise. In 2006 we fell in love with the location of the Mayan Villas and purchased our unit in 2006 when it was just a piece of Land. The unit was completed in 2008 and we customized a lot of things of our Penthosue unit. Mayan Villas is located in a fantastic location, the unit is one block from the beach and is located right in the center of town. 5th Ave is just a minute away from the front door and offers restaurants, shopping , nightlife, bars, discos and much more.

Great location, less than 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5th Ave, Mayan Villas 416 is a great 2 Bedroom penthouse with lots of privacy. The rooftop terrace is huge and has lots of space with an outdoor BBQ/Kitchen, Hot Tub and Moon Shower. The unit offers great views to the Caribbean Sea and the town of Playa Del Carmen.

I am originally born and raised in Germany and moved to the US in 1993. In 1994 I started traveling to Mexico. In 1995 I purchased my first Vacation Property in Cabo San Lucas and lived in Los Cabos for several Years. In 2003 I started to visit Playa Del Carmen and purchased my home there. I have been living in Playa Del Carmen ever since and enjoy the paradise here.
