  We (family with small children) rented this house to have a nice summer with occasional some visits from some friends. For this, the house was perfect. A large outdoor area for plays, eating and drinking or just sunbathing combined with large indoor areas (very good kitchen and living room) for those days with slightly worse weather. We also had a very good contact with Gustaf who was very helpful in every way. Access to the water was very nice and relaxing. The only downside was that it was a bit to shallow for effective bathing (shallow water also leads to a bit annoying water vegetation). However, I can most definitely recommend this house.

  Our family of seven rented this house since December 28th thru January 5th. The goal was to celebrate New Year Eve and ones birthday somethere in the nice, rural and comfortable place. Now I can steadily confirm we were lucky with our choice. The house is stunning and has all amenities we were needed. Also it is perfectly located, very close to Mariehamn. It tooks us approximately 10 - 12 minutes to get Mariebad, city center or supermarkets. The weather was fine with much snow. I'm really Impressed by beatifull winter nature of Alands, pleasant surroundings and sightseeings. Unfortunately I did not find a snowmobile for hire. I wish it were a real fun. I'm joining to the other reviewers recomendations and would like to rent this house again.

  The property really match the description in the add. The house is very well planned and can host up to 9 people even if the weather is bad like we had for a couple of days. Some friends where visiting and all of them felt a good atmosphere in the house and surrounding property. The Jetty was used a lot for fishing (we had some good luck with that) and sunbathing. From the jetty there is a fantastic view over the ocean. Around the Jetty we have the only things that would be on our wish list if we were planning to return some time. We would like to see a small boat go with the rental (for fishing and some nearby exploring). A sauna would also fit very well close to the Jetty. Also some more sand would be in place where we swim since the bottom is mostly mud that creates a bad smell when taking a bath. So to summarize a really good property in a perfect location and Åland.

  We very much enjoyed our stay, and thanks again for arranging the sailboat and canoe. Aland is lovely, and we hope to visit again some time. The house is in a wonderful location, and the weather could not have been better. My only criticism is that the house and sleeping arrangements are tight for six adults, especially with a single bathroom and a single toilet. The house is ideally suited for a single family, i.e., two adults and their children.

  We rented the house in August 2009 for one week. My wife and 2 children loved this place and we have booked the house again this year and we will bring my parents along. As described in the advertisement this is a luxuries house and the caretaker was really friendly and helpful, he came to the port of Mariehamn to meet us. We were lucky with the weather and spent some fantastic days out on the small island just nearby. We had rented a small boat with an outboard engine and going out having a pick nick was an experience we want to do again! There were no other people out there and we sat watching the sun set in the ocean. The owner let us use the fishing net and we tried our luck two times and had the net out over the night, we got much more fish then we could take care off and this was very exiting for all of us. The house is nice with the Jacuzzi , fire place etc. but during the week when the weather was so nice what we enjoyed most was all the time we spent outdoor going to the small islands spending the whole day fishing, sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear water. Every morning we had our morning coffee on the jetty and some evenings we had late dinner watching the sun set. The Aland Island also has a lot to offer and Mariehamn is a nice small town and we could find everything there. Because all prices are in euro we found it expensive and next time we will buy the basic food and bring it with us from Sweden as this will save quite a bit of money. Our advice to anybody who are renting during the summer, please rent a bout so that you can enjoy the fantastic islands and going around in this water was easy once we were guided.

  I and my family stayed at this house from 9th -19th September 2009. The location is fantastic and the house has all amenities you would wish for. The nature in the area is great and if you like fishing and boating this is the perfect place to stay. We have a 1, 5 year old daughter and the yard is perfect for kids as it is large and open. There is a deck on the south and west side of the house that is great for BBQ or just to have your dinner at. We can definitely recommend it and we will rent again.
