1) As our guest you will stay in our luxurious 2 bedroom condominium with 2 king sized beds, sleep under down blankets, full gourmet kitchen, stainless appliances, granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, large stacked stone gas fireplace, ceiling fans throughout, and large 61" inch TV. The unit has a front deck and expansive back deck that runs the length of the condo and overlooks the 11th hole of the golf course.
2) At the golf course is the Persimmon Grill for lunch and dinner.
3) Shop until you drop at the many stores in the nearby quaint mountain towns: Dillsboro, Cherokee, Bryson City, Sylva, Franklin, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. Asheville is only an hour away. Atlanta is less than three hours away.
4) Feeling lucky? Harrah's Cherokee Casino is only 10 minutes away.
5) Tennis anyone? 2 lighted Nova cushion hard courts.
6) Ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. If you really want to view mountain terrain in areas you cannot access by car, get on board and enjoy up close and personal views through tunnels alongside and across river gorges with 53 miles of track it is truly stunning. In December don't miss the magic of the Polar Express. Meet Santa and enjoy caroling and hot cocoa in your p.j.'s.
7) Spend the day by the pool. Enjoy the large swimming pool or relax in the whirlpool spa.

We are Larry and Rita May. We live in South Florida with our three Yorkies. We enjoy our trips to North Carolina in the summer and in the October fall leaf season.
Why the Owner Chose Whittier
We enjoy getting away to the mountains, but also enjoy the amenities here at the Smoky Mountain Country Club. There is spectacular mountain golf, a casual dining grill, pool, spa, sauna, exercise facilities, and tennis. We are within a short distance to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. There you will find beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and mountain tubing. Also close by is whitewater rafting at the Nantahala National Forest. Horseback riding and more hiking trails are there as well. For younger children rafting on the Tuckaseegee River can be exciting. You can pick up the Appalachian trail and hike for weeks if desired. All this is why this area was named the number one adventure destination in the United States.
