I am a singer/actor/producer/writer/voice teacher who is living her dream commuting between Chicago and LA. I also am a professional interior designer (by hobby...but I also get paid), so that's why all of our properties are gorgeous! I love interior design!
My husband, Phil, is also in "the biz." He is the one you will be working with over email or on the phone to actually close the deal! He is a guitarist/song writer/band leader/agent who is just based in Chicago right now.
Why the Owner Chose Hollywood
We are bi-coastal between LA and Chicago and need to be in this area to do business...we are both in the entertainment business. The Hollywood Hills are fabulous! Quiet...yet close to everything!
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
It's quiet above the hustle/bustle of the "Heart of Hollywood." The area of Hollywood is so wonderful weatherwise...you will probably never need to use the air conditioner or the heater.
The apartment is beautiful...and comes equipped with an electric 88 keyboard...if you are a musician, just ask us to use the keyboard...please!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was a fantastic temporary home for us. The place looks exactly like the photos and well decorated. It was close to all of the attractions with convenient shopping and restaurants. The movie theaters in the area where spectacular with super large screens and great sound! We appreciated the size of the living area and the large kitchen made it easy for cooking in. The apartment was neat and clean upon arrival and the laundry room is a short walk down the hall. We enjoyed the rooftop view of Hollywood. The indoor parking garage made local trips quick and convenient. Everything worked great from the internet to the appliances. We found it to be well decorated, fun, neat, clean and very reasonably priced. The owners were on hand to answer any questions we had and the on site manager lives right down the hall. We will certainly be back for our next visit to Los Angeles.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks - would have left except we had prepaid and could not find another place in time. Location is excellent - on a steep hill moments from Hollywood BLVD. Unfortunately the property features were overstated. The following should be noted; 1. The building is in need of repair - Elevator went out when there for over 24 hours. 2. The heating was a space heater but it was broken - it was very cold in the place. 3. There is absolutely no place for clothing - all dressers and closets are full of the owners clothes - had only a couple of stand up trees to hang clothes on and the balance had to stay in suitcases, 4. Every inch of the place was cluttered with papers and personal affects. Had to clear a space for my notebook - and there is no wireless -only a cable modem. 5. Oldest TV's I have ever seen. 6. Windows did not properly open or close - needs a lot of work. 7. Sleep 5? There is a pull out from the sofa and unless 3 could sleep in it, saw no way anybody else could fit into the place. 8. Don't mind the periodic ants in bathroom. Have pictures to verify.
Owner response:1 The building was built in the historic days of Hollywood and the elevator has broken before and takes a few hours to get it repaired. However, this apartment is on the second floor giving you easy access using the staircase. 2 The client made no mention of a broken heater which we discovered and immediately replaced with a new one just after they checked out. 3 The owner has since removed personal belongings from the property. 4 Upon this clients complaint about expecting wireless internet the owner offered to purchase a wireless router but with no response from the client. It was a high speed hard wire connection. 5 The 2 older TV sets are not flat screen but work perfectly and one has a built in DVD for convenience. 6 The sliding terrace doors stick and should be replaced. 7 two guests in the queen master bed, 2 guests in the pullout sofa and 1 on an air mattress makes 5 8 There is not ant problem in the building. What house has not seen a periodic ant? 9 Our Hollywood Hills prime location and easy access to everything still make it a magnificent value. All of the above concerns have been addressed and most have been corrected. Thank you
