  My GIrlfriend and I stayed at the new Ocean View smaller suite offered by this family. Words can not describe how beautiful the room and views are. The Suite is centreally located in town and once parked, there is no need to drive anywhere. The bakery next door had wonderful treats and great coffee. Also went to the attached restaurant, Hoppe's, which was one of the best meals I have ever had with some very wonderful menu selections, includinh quail, abalone and pheasant. The room itself was beautiful, with all the modern amenities and decorated wonderfully. I will definitely return and recommend this to any friend of mine visiting Cayucos. :)

  We (3 adults) stayed at Sweet Suite for 2 nights and we were very pleased with our selection of this vacation rental. The property, not only as described, was actually better than was shown. The owners (Mary Ellen and Hank) were very friendly and nice people and gave us a tour of the property and the recreation rooms. While this property is not on the ocean, it is very close and the view to the ocean is very nice from the dining room, living room, and the roof top area. The spa is an excellent place to relax in late afternoon to watch the sunset and it has an excellent view of the ocean. We saw dolphins from the roof top :-) The kitchen is great for people who enjoy cooking and eat in, plenty of space. The property was remodeled with high quality materials, and it really showed the thoughts and care from the owners. We have been to the Central Coast many times, but this was our first time in Cayucos. We liked it a lot, it's quiet and nice, the pier and public beach are just 2 blocks from Sweet Suite. Everything was as advertised or better. Thank you Mary Ellen, Hank, and Marc for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back!

  We had a wonderful time here. There were 4 of us and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Mary Ellen and Henry were very helpful and we enjoyed the beautiful gardens downstairs. We actually loved the stairs......any excuse to burn off some extra 'wine' calories. Cayuccos Cellars across the street had some enjoyable wines. The description in the unit accurately described exactly what they had to offer. Very clean and well maintained property. We were well aware of the single bathroom on the main floor, so we didn't mind. The remodel is beautiful with nice touches all around. All 4 of us (adults) had a great time in the game room and putting green. We even took the surrey out for a pedal! Great fun. Thank you for a great place! We would return here.

  We had a party of 9 adults and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. King bed was wonderful. Queen room was average. Couch and futon in the living room were ok and the folding futon pad was fine for my 18 yr. old son. If you are going to be cooking there is a nice full kitchen but i suggest bringing frying pans there are a couple but we needed more. The BBQ was not like the picture and operates on natural gas which is a lot different than our propane grill, so plan on extra cleaning and cooking time. There is only one full bath very nice and clean, and we were able to time it out pretty good. We loved the hot tub and the game room the only thing i did not plan on was all the stair climbing involved getting to either location. The game room is located on the street level it is not connected to the living area, it is across the the alley in a three car garage next to the mini putting green the entrance can be seen from the balcony of the Master bedroom. There are also bikes and boogie boards there in the garage for the real adventurous. The living area is beautiful but its up on the second floor 20 steps then to go to the grill patio 1/2 bath and hot tub on the roof it is another 20 or so steps, we got a good work out. We did have a very nice time with family and friends but our next trip we will be staying at a single level property. The owners were very nice and thanks for your hospitallity.

  We traveled to the Central Coast for a few days for my Mom’s 75th birthday and stayed at “Sweet Cayucos”. It was a great time. Marc (owner) was gracious and friendly and went out of his way for us. The condo had ample room for my husband and me, my parents and my 2 teenage sons. The game room with pool, ping pong, darts and music was a real bonus for my boys. Below the unit is a deli and bakery where we got our morning baguettes, the beach is literally across the street, and great restaurants just paces away. The unit was very clean with high end and modern décor. The spa on the roof was a fabulous. The only thing that could have made it even better is if there was more than one bathroom inside given the size of our group (the 1/2 bath is on the roof deck). All in all though, I recommend it!
