“Sweet Suite Cayucos” is a two bedroom, 1.5 bath luxury vacation rental located in the center of beautiful Cayucos, which has recently been named as "the last great California beach town." It is in a brand new building completed in June 2009. We just added a new private game room including table tennis, pool table, darts, and stereo system. Also included, we have beach cruisers, bicycles and beach gear for you to use! The Suite is located just one short block from the Cayucos pier. The ocean is just across the street and is visible from anywhere in the living room, kitchen, dining room, or covered deck, but if that doesn't bring enough peace and happiness to you then you can change into your bathing suit and enjoy a full panoramic view of the ocean and the mountains from the private hot tub on the roof deck. Most of the time you will see dolphins, humpback whales and various other wildlife from this deck.
We have just added a brand new private recreation park just for the Sweet Suite tenants! This small park includes a 4 hole putting green, bocce ball, and a great fenced in area to enjoy with friends and family!
The suite can accommodate two to eight people with a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second room, two full sofa sleepers in the living room and a queen sofa sleeper on a protected deck. There are also two futons and plenty of blankets for extra guests. The bedrooms are completely furnished with fine linens, coverlets and pillows. Both rooms have large closets and plenty of storage. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination and large, soft towels. There is also an outdoor heated shower at the entry which is very convenient after using the ocean and yet another heated shower on the roof deck for convenience when using the hot tub.
“Sweet Suite Cayucos” is completely furnished with sofa, chairs, padded window seats, library, various board games, children's books and a collapsible game table. The dining room table can seat 10 and another table on the adjacent deck holds six.
The large, high tech kitchen complete with Jenn Air appliances, granite counter tops throughout, seating at a buffet bar and two china sets to serve as many as twelve including wine glasses should make your homemade meals excellent and enjoyable at the same time. The state of the art entertainment center with top of the line surround sound, large new 42” Flat screen TV, DVD, CD, and cable TV should keep everyone in the family happy.
There are three viewing decks: one off the master bedroom that faces the eastern foothills with a unique view of the little town's variety of homes; one off the living room that faces Estero Bay with views of the pier and open water; and the roof deck AKA Horizon deck that has a 360 degree view of the entire coast line where dolphins, whales, sea lions and surfers are often spotted and clearly visible. Not only is there a shower, hot tub, lounge chair, table and chairs and combination gas BBQ with mini refrigerator located on the roof deck but there is also a covered toilet cabana!
The suite is adjacent to both Hoppe's Garden Bistro and Wine Bar, known as "the most acclaimed restaurant on the Central Coast" and serves lunch and dinner; and the Old Cayucos Bakery and Deli, which provides casual dining in a covered garden called, "The Fountain Garden" and serves breakfast and lunch from 8am-3pm.
“Sweet Suite Cayucos” is located at the hub of various area attractions: Hearst Castle, Montana De Oro, Morro Bay golf course and Aquarium/Museum, Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, Estrella War Bird Museum, the Paso Robles Wine Country, Cal Poly University, San Luis Shopping Malls and the famous Madonna Inn.

We traveled to the Central Coast for a few days for my Mom’s 75th birthday and stayed at “Sweet Cayucos”. It was a great time. Marc (owner) was gracious and friendly and went out of his way for us. The condo had ample room for my husband and me, my parents and my 2 teenage sons. The game room with pool, ping pong, darts and music was a real bonus for my boys. Below the unit is a deli and bakery where we got our morning baguettes, the beach is literally across the street, and great restaurants just paces away. The unit was very clean with high end and modern décor. The spa on the roof was a fabulous. The only thing that could have made it even better is if there was more than one bathroom inside given the size of our group (the 1/2 bath is on the roof deck). All in all though, I recommend it!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
