My name is Steve Milo and I stay in Vacation Rental Homes when I travel both domestically and abroad. I own several vacation rental homes and listen carefully to our guests and their feedback! Our greatest compliment is when our guests refer our web site to their friends and relatives. AND, now I am managing other people's properties in St Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and Ponte Vedra Beach. You're within a short car ride of historic downtown St. Augustine, the oldest city in America filled with pedestrian walkways with shops, cafes and first class restaurants. We are also close to Daytona Beach and the Daytona speedway and museum. We are also only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Orlando and Disney World/Universal/Sea World as well as 1 1/2 hour to the Kennedy Space Center. Our rental is also a short car ride to Ponte Vedra Beach and PGA golf Course and TPC as well as Jacksonville with the brand new St John's Town Center (with a Costco), Avenue Mall and River Front Arcade. There is also a minor league baseball team and a professional football team and stadium.

The pictures and description were accurate with the exception of access to the closets to hang clothes and garage. Not much in the way of cookware or kitchen accessories ex hot pads, towels,silverware. I was excited to stay in this house until we got there.. First morning we were awakened by the lawn people outside the window at 7am.. Spent a day with maintenance man repairing a leak in the downstairs bathroom where water was just coming through the ceiling above the bath tub. Most closets were locked where we could not hang our clothes. Says there is a garage but it was locked and not usable. Jim with Vacation Rental Pro's was the only person who was willing to help in any way and called to check to see if things were getting better. Personally would not recommend this location to my friends or family.
Owner response:Hi Amy - Thank you so much for your feedback. I apologize for the issues with the closets and kitchenware. This is a new rental house to our program as of July 2, 2011 and we clearly have a few things that needed to be added. I have already contacted our maintenance manager to bring in additional kitchenware. This property does have an owner who has their personal belongings locked away in 2 closets and the garage. I apologize about the tub leak and were glad we were able to fix it. We will discuss with the lawn care people to come at 8 am. They do start early in mornings on lawns because of the heat during the summer. Thank you so much and we look forward to your return. Steve

We started out on the Gulf and the oil came in (Thanks BP) so we got on line and found this great place in St. Augustine. We contacted Vacation Rental Pros late on Friday and we were enjoying the Atlantic coast by 3:00 on Saturday. Had a great week in a really neat city. Aside from the ocean, there is certainly plenty to do in this historic area.
