Why the Owner Chose Paniolo
We purchased this condo several years ago as a place to stay when we vacationed in Hawaii. A couple of years after purchasing the property we decided to move to the Garden Island and call it home. We used both sides of the condo as our home for several years and just recently purchased a house in Princeville. After moving to our new home we then set to the task of making this condo a perfect retreat for visitors to use as a place to stay during their vacation in Hawaii. We welcome couples from all over the world to come and feel the Aloha of Hawaii while staying in our condo. We make sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable, such as beach chairs, towels and ice chests. There will be guide books in your room and coffee table books showing the beauty of Kauai which will help you decide what to enjoy during your stay on Kauai.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We have enjoyed living in this location for many years because of it proximity to many beautiful beaches, bays, restaurants, and shopping. Behind the condo, in fact right outside the back door is a path that leads down to a beautiful, secluded beach. It is about a 10 minute hike down a beautiful sloping hill that has much of the beauty that the North Shore has to offer. On the 10 minute walk you will hear birds, be nestled in a grove of shady trees and walk past a small waterfall. The hill is steep enough that you will need to wear good walking shoes (no flip-flops). If you want to stop off at the Westin before or after your walk to the beach it is minutes from the back door of the condo. At the Westin you will find a nice restaurant and a pool-side bar that is open to the public. You can also follow the path in the opposite direction for 10 minutes and you will be at the Princeville Shopping Center which has several restaurants and Hawaiian style fast food places, a post office, a chiropractic office, various types of Hawaiiana gift shops and a large grocery store with a pharmacy. If you get in your car and drive you can be at any number of beaches or bays to enjoy

This unit is exactly as pictured, very clean and well stocked (beach mats, chairs and towels, dishes, silverware, glassware etc) . Located in a quiet resort area that is a short drive or nice walk to the Princeville Market where there is a grocery store and several shops. Just a 5 minute drive to Hanalei where there are several great restraunts, shops and another grocery store or about 35 minutes to Kapa'a. Quick drives over to Anini Beach or Tunnels for great snorkeling, great hikes nearby are Sleeping Giant or Ke'e Beach (a great 2 miles but go the other 2 miles up to the waterfall for a fantastic workout with beautiful rewards!). A great unit for a couple who want to experience the island and just relax. Mahalo Judith and Sally for providing a great place for a very reasonable price! The Martins Odessa, TX

My husband and I were very pleased with this cute studio! It was perfect for us since we both like the simpler things :) It was pretty quiet while we were there, and we loved the cool morning breeze. :) Judith was very kind and helpful to us! We really enjoyed our stay here and will be recommending this to everyone who wants to visit Kauai.

This was the perfect place to stay! Very central for the North coast - there is an inexpensive grocery store within a few blocks with great bagels. Close to Hanalei Bay, good restaurants.... The nearby beach is not the nicest one, but a morning hike there was a great way to start the day! The bed is comfortable, it is quiet (no roosters waking you up, which is a lot to ask for in Kauai). You won't regret staying here.
Owner response:Thanks. We are very happy we could be a part of your wonderful vacation on Kauai. Judith and Sally

We came back to Kauai 8 years after our honeymoon where we rented a home just out of Kapaa. We happened on this little gem while looking for places to rent on the north shore this time. Perfect for the couple looking for a relaxing place to land in the evenings after days exploring the island or lying on the beach. Though you can walk to the beach, you'd be better suited to jump in the car and hit Kalihiwai Beach...very quiet, better sand...great beach. Also a must, in Anahola Town, check out Duane's Ono Char Burger and in Kapaa, the Kountry Kitchen; both places are amazing. Note: You may want to bring ear plugs because, though the sound of the tropical birds, wind, and rain is amazing, the local rooster is somewhat challenged when it comes to time orientation and begins cockadoodling at like 130a. If you are coming to Kauai, stay here. We will be back.
Owner response:Hey Jared I wanted to thank you for your review. Good advice on the ear plugs as the roosters are all over Kauai and many people search the stores for ear plugs which are not always available at Foodland.

We happened upon this sweet place to avoid camping in the rain. As frugal travelers we were thrilled to find this place that was homey, safe and ideally located for activites on the North Shore. Our last minute booking was well received by Judith and she accommodated our every request. The description and photos were right on. It was cleaner than a whistle and well maintained. I would recommend their property to any friend or relative. The fact that it does not have any sort of ocean view was never an issue. We began the day with waffles made in the toaster oven- adventured on the beaches until the sun went down - then returned to a place that felt like home to recharge. Don't forget to visit the local Thrift shop on the road to the Lighthouse!

The condo is well-maintained and in a very convenient neighborhood for the gorgeous North Shore of Kaua'i. The owners have thought of many helpful touches like beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and dishes/utensils. I'd give it 5 stars, but the bathroom door is difficult to close and the upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy. We would definitely rent the studio again. We had such a terrific vacation!

I was extremely pleased with the quality of this beautiful Princeville condo rental. It was a very beautiful, well equipped, clean unit with an outstanding view of the golf course and the Na Pali mountains in the background. Wonderful value! Could have cost much more than what I paid. Will definitely try to rent the same unit in future visits to the island.

My now wife and I came to Kauai to get married. We had never been to the island and had no idea what to expect. We were so incredibly surprised and happy with this condo. It has everything you need to have a great time. We cooked almost every meal at the condo and ate out on the deck that sits on the golf course. A short walk and we were at the beach and a short drive away from everything we needed. The best part of the condo though was the owners. They made our stay a truly special experience which we appreciated so much. You will love this condo!! We did. :)

Judith, you are the Aloha winner! Hello Judith, Hope this message finds you and Sally well. After a couple of weeks of reflecting on my visit to the 4 major Hawaiian Islands, I experienced a great deal of aloha from many Hawaiians. But you were the hands-down winner of showing me the most aloha, and it really wasn't close. I want very much to return to all 4 islands that I visited but I think Kauai and Hawaii were the islands I'm most eager to get back to, with Maui being a close second. Oahu is a place I didn't get to see a great deal of, but I was overwhelmed almost immediately by the big city atmosphere (and lack of public parking) in Waikiki. Also, meant to tell you that the shower at your condo was the best by far of all that I had the opportunity to experience. Again, great thanks and..... Aloha! Joe
