My wife and I spent our first ever trip to Hawaii here and everything about our vist was wonderful. Kai met us at our room to personally greet us on arrival and go over all the details of the room and surroundings. The condo is perfectly located right on the beach, fanstaic view, great fireworks show every Friday. If we are fortunate enough to go to Hawaii again, we will certainly try to book this condo again.

My son and I stayed here for a week from July 10th through the 17th. Everything on this little condo was just as it was described. It was just perfect for 2 people. I would wake up early in the morning and sit in the lanai to watch the sunrise while sipping my hot coffee. I loved listening to the sounds of waves and watch the beach come to life. The fireworks on Friday was super! All we had to do was walk to our lanai to watch it. Thom was very through in explaning everything to us and showing how everything works. He is also very promt and was there upon our arrival and was there right on time when we check out. We will come back to Hawaii again and will contact Kai and Thom again for their place. This place is a gem, truly loved our stay and since this was our first trip to Hawaii, it was a very good experience to have stayed in a wonderful place.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

What an excellent condo. We stayed in this condo for 8 glorious nights. The view was phenomenal. We watched the sunset almost every night, with the exception of a sunset swim. The shower as you enter from the beach was definitely a plus. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again! Kai was an excellent host.

Wife and I stayed in the 11th floor unit. It's everything they say and more. Kai and John were perfect hosts even picking me up from the other hotel I was staying at. I am very picky and travel a lot with big bands and stay at some nice places but this is a better than some 4-5 star places I have stayed. The band I was with stayed at a pricey hotel across from Waikiki Beach and when they saw this condo they told tour management that this is where they want to stay next time. Fireworks are great on Friday.

I LOVE this place and ...wow,what a deal..Super security to building and elevators (which was very important to me),no electronic key,no entry..****,had everything we needed,full refrigerator,washer/dryer/stove,great bed,view from are lanai was super.***Kai and John were terrific,very very nice and helpful.Lots of towels,silverware, plates,etc..,close to ABC stores and great restraurants famous Roys restruant just 1 block from room***Must go to swap meet on Wednesday,Sat or Sunday,great great bargains.**Take the # 20 or # 42 city bus,bus takes u right to swap meet at Aloha Stadium*. Go to Moose McGillycuddy for super food at cheap prices and happy hour everyday 4pm-7-and fun place to hang out** will stay here ALWAYS when in Hawaii., Oklahoma City

Le lit était confortable. Les restos et dépanneur étaient proches du condo. On en a profité pour visiter Honolulu. La gentillesse de Kai, fait que nous allons le recommander à nos amis du Québec. We spend a magnificant August in Hawaii. Our base was the excellent 4th floor Waikiki Shore condo managed by Kai and Thon. It’s hard to imagine a better all-round bargain. The studio condo was clean and well appointed. The bed and furniture were quite comfortable. We were easily able to eat in as often as we wished. (There’s a Foodland on the backside-makua-of Ala Moana Center) And breakfast on the lanai overlooking Fort Derussy and the beach? How sweet it was! The sunsets, the Hilton Hawaiian Friday fireworks, the cooling trades, the quick and easy access to the beach—all added up to a wonderful vacation. Our plan was to use TheBus to get around Oahu and it worked wonderfully. Our total transportation cost for the month was $90 (one senior, one not-yet-senior pass). The bus stops, both east and west, were just a half block from the Waikiki Shore. We went everywhere by bus: Windward, Leeward, North Shore, downtown and all over Waikiki. We even did the Polynesian Cultural Center, to include the late night show, via TheBus. Kai and Thon, it was a great vacation. Your graciousness as hosts helped make it so. Thanks. We shall return!

May 22/10 Stayed two weeks ,the studio unit we stayed in was fantastic,incrediably clean and close eerything..We had a great view of the beach and there was fire works we could see from the Lani on Friday night. Will stay here again

The property description was very accurate so we knew what to expect, but the actual property was more inviting and wonderful than we could imagine. It was well maintained, upgraded, light and airy, and had the most fantastic view of the beach, water, sunsets, fireworks and palm trees in Ft. Derussy Park. The building is located right on the beach. From the first contact inquiring about availability to our final checkout we were treated royally by Kai and Thon. Thon took time to personally greet us on arrival and answer all questions when we checked in. He explained the security system for the building, and the room features, etc. The property is centrally located in Waikiki Beach so it was very easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the bus pick up areas for tours, etc. This was great because we were there seven nights and did not rent a car. We had no need for a vehicle, as we wanted to enjoy the sights without worrying about traffic. I arranged activities for every other day so we could enjoy some time on the beach under the palm trees. We took the bus tour operated by Grand Circle Tours (Roberts Transportation). Kawika our driver and guide was excellent. His knowledge of the island and humor kept us interested and laughing. It was well worth the time and money spent. Other activities included The Polynesian Culture Center and Germaine's Luau. We did not participate in the water sports other than wading. The surf board rentals are right on the beach as well as surfing lessons. We made use of the shower located at the private corridor entry for washing off sand. One highlight of the beach area was the parrot photos available in front of Waikiki Shores. Our favorite restaurant was Shore Bird in the Outrigger Reef Hotel a few steps away across the sand. In addition there is a Subway Sandwich Shop right on the property and a Denny's Restaurant a couple blocks away. Hoping to return to Waikiki Shores.
