  I searched this site for days to find this hidden jewel. It is priced amazingly for a new build with 360 degree views of both the beach and the bay. I absolutely love the location between Galveston and Surfside. Galveston has so much to offer with Moody Gardens for the kids and really nice restaurants on the Seawall. It took us about 20 minutes to get to Cafe Micheal burger at the beginning of the seawall and the kids just loved it. However, Surfside was 10 minutes away and we had one of the best meals of the trip at the Red Snapper Inn. I had the trout almondine and it was one of the best pieces of fish I have had. The kids of course want to go the Kitties Purple Cow everyday for great hamburgers. I think what is so special about this property is that is gives you seclusion and great fishing combined with choices of destinations. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a little bit of everything, beach, bay, food, fishing, and most of all seclusion when you need it.

  Owner response: I built this house because I love the location. I was so tired of looking at the house across the canal with no view and a 20 minute boat taxi to the bay. Try Jamaica Beach if you don't believe me. It is so hard to describe to people how great a point lot on the bay that is right next to the beach is until you have to live it.   We stayed at Margarita Sunset this past weekend and had a great time! The house was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed. We caught catfish and a couple of crabs right off of the back deck. I have to say, the crabbing was much better down the road. Tip: We came from 288 and went through some really small towns there weren't very nice. If you are going the same way and need to go into town to get some things - go the opposite way (towards Galveston). The town is much nicer and has a lot more to offer. If you are planning on heading to Galveston during your stay, it is only about 30 minutes away. Not a bad drive at all! I would recommend this place for a guys fishing trip or families with children or pets. :)

  great new consruction home with amenities not found in our past galveston rentals including a comercial ice maker, huge flat screene tv and stereo. boat dock at the back door was a great plus. looking forward to a repeat trip. owner was excelent to deal with.

  I rented the Sunset Margarita for a weekend with friends. What a cool place for relaxing, fishing, and sight seeing. The wrap around deck is perfect for watching the sun set and rise. The interior and exterior are in high end condition! Having the boat ramp next door was so convenient The downstairs bunk room and porch were a great addition!! The ice machine saved us many trips down the road. This is overall a FIVE STAR vacation home.We can't wait to come back this summer!!

  Wow guys!! Nice Job!! What a fantastic job you've done w/ "updating" your property. The new (bigger) decks are world class...we loved now having a 360* view of the area (the Bay to the North and the Beach to the South)....we also really love all the new "decor" both inside and out. As you know, our family has enjoyed your place for several years now and in short, all the remodeling has made your place even better. Thanks again for another fantastic trip. We'll see you again very soon.
