Waterfront Cottage Close to Everything
Year Purchased: 1998
Why the Owner Chose Other Fort Myers Properties
Russell Park is a beautiful part of Fort Myers. It's quiet and is centrally located. I grew up a short distance from here and purchased my home in 1998 because I loved the area so much. I live in this home in the off season and plan on staying here for a very long time.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Did I mention its on the water and you have 30 feet of dock space. Enjoy watching the sun rise over the trees while you sip your morning coffee. Take a walk along the river front, or just kick back and listen to the birds. The Fort Myers Dinner Train passes by a few times during the day and twice at night. Book your reservation and see Fort Myers by rail while enjoying a good meal.
Fort Myers renewed downtown and river area. Go to http://myriverdistrict.com to find out more about the new Old Town Fort Myers.
Lunch and Dinner train that travles the rails from Fort Myers to Port Charlotte. Good food and great views. Go to their web page @ http://www.semgulf.com/

Great Place!!!

This was the cleanest home we have ever stayed in and have rented many through VRBO, FL, NC, TN and this tops them all. The pictures are great, but to me, doesn't do it justice. Paul has done a fantastic job with his rental home, from the decor to stocking everything that one would need of or want and then some. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, rain and then cooled right off we had a relaxing time and even caught a couple fish out back. To us, the home is centrally located to any of the southwest area's you would want to go. I would definetly recommend this home and hope to return. Thanks Paul for a great place and a relaxing week. Based upon prior reviews and property photos, we had high expectations for this property. Those expectations were exceeded. This was our first experience with VRBO and we also found that to be properly .represented. The property was very clean, well maintained and very well equipped. Paul was very responsive to any any needs or questions. Watching the fish jump in the lagoon and often spotting the alligator was a real thrill. This is a very quiet neighborhood with anything you need being easily accessible. There is much to do in this area so take advantage and enjoy, or just relax in the lanai or on the dock. It's all great.

We found this property to be everything and more as listed. Accommodations were exceptionally clean and a kitchen adequately equipped .The area was located in a very quite neighborhood. The owner responded promptly to any questions or requests we had and provided helpful information to places of interest. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a time of relaxation. An extra bonus was a nice dock where we could watch the sunrise and sunset and fish.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottage for our first trip to the Ft. Myers area. The cottage is in excellent condition and very comfortable. It is centrally located which worked great for us as we did day trips to the Everglades, Orlando and the cities along the west coast of Florida. Paul was very accomodating and we hope to be able to stay here again in the future. We would highly recommend staying here.

We found Paul's place to be both clean and comfortable and was very affordable for a 2 week stay in Florida. Paul was available to assist with anything we needed while we visited with our daughter and grandchildren. The home was located near I-75 and shopping was within a 10 min ride. We will difinitely stay here again on out next visit to see family. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay Paul.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY HERE. IT IS THE PERFECT HIDEAWAY TUCKED AWAY ON A LAGOON. YOU CAN SIT OUT ON THE HUGE LANAI AND RELAX. THE DOCK IS SO PEACEFUL AND QUIET. FUN TO SIT DOWN THERE AND WATCH THE JUMPING FISH OR TRY TO SPOT THE ALLIGATOR. IT IS ABOUT A 30 MINUTE DRIVE TO THE BEACH (THAT IS OFF SEASON). WE STAYED IN MAY SO THERE WASN"T MUCH TRAFFIC. THE HOUSE IS COMPLETELY FURNISHED AND DECORATED SO CUTE. THERE IS ALSO A SECURITY SYSTEM FOR THAT ADDED PEACE OF MIND. OWNER LIVES CLOSE BY, SO IF YOU NEED ANYTHING AT ALL, HE IS RIGHT THERE. WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

Our two month stay at Paul's place has come to an end. Everything here is so nice, relaxing and comfortable. Paul's decorating is very well thought out. Most everything is furnished, making more time for reading, sunning and watching the fish jump. No need to bring a computer, beach towels or laundry soap; it's all here, even several fishing poles.

This is a great house. It has virtually everthing needed, including cleaning supplies, baggies, laundry detergents. Nothing needs to be bought from the store or from home. Paul has done a great job remodeling the house. It offers a lot of privacy and although in a residental area, it is very quiet and safe. Although no fish were caught, the bay in the back offered a relaxing place to sit. It is a bit of a drive to the beach. Not bad if you leave EARLY! (we made the mistake and left at 11:30 am- arrival 2:00. Grocery store is close as well as I-75. I would definitely recommend this property. Owner lives within the neighborhood and is there to help should any issues arise. Fresh oranges were on the tree for juice in the morning.
