Mountain Edge Resort and Spa is located in the shadow of Mount Sunapee Resort Ski Area and adjacent to Lake Sunapee State Park Beach. The resort was completed in 2006. While big by Sunapee standards, (47 Condominium Suites - 3 Stories), it's feel is private and personal.
This suite is 800 square feet. Interior is Fir Beam with Granite surfaces and Stainless Appliances. It has 1 Private bedroom with King Pillow Top bedding, a leather queen sleeper in the living room by the fireplace and a den area off the living room which has a full size sleeper. The kitchen is complete with the exception of a traditional oven. The resort provides daily light housekeeping and towels for the 5 pools, 1 seasonal outdoor, year-round outdoor hot-tub, and 3 indoor pools. The Mountain Edge Tavern is open 3-7 nights per week depending upon season. There is a General Store at the Resort open daily.
The resort is located just 90 minutes from Boston and 2.5 hours from Hartford. Its easy access by major highways allows for a quick get-a-way or a weeklong stay without wasting 2 days traveling. Manchester Airport (MHT) is just 50 minutes south and is served by most major carriers, Southwest and USAIR having the most daily flights. Once you arrive you will find the Ski Area a 2 minute drive, (Free Shuttle Weekends & Holidays). The State Park Beach on Lake Sunapee, while not visible from the resort is a 4 minute walk. Fall and Spring are great times to visit, relax and enjoy the foliage or peace and quiet of a mountain hike. The Resort's Spa is open daily and caters to your every desire.
